Wow, the staff had bad attitude! I booked for my contact lenses on their website, I didn't choose a doctor because I'm a new patient. When I received a call, my iPhone showed it "spam like" so I didn't take the call then it went to voice mail. Meanwhile I was reading the message who was just leaving the message on the phone, she was talking about my appointment, it was not spam. She was talking about the doctor who supposed to see me doesn't accept a new patient so they will change a doctor.... then I answered the call. As soon as she realized I was on the phone, she took a big sigh, "I just left a message...", it sounded she was annoyed by me. I was surprised this rude attitude the way she was talking to me. I didn't choose the doctor, it was automatically the doctor was chosen on their website! Anyway, I really don't want to have a business with this lady, I just canceled my appointment. No thank you. I'll find a place where welcoming nice people are working.

Absolutely disaster. I've been a RN for 15 years and have never had my concerns so blown off by a provider. They cancelled my follow-up appointment that I had booked for months the day prior to the appointment because they scheduled me with the wrong doctor. So disappointed

It is always a great experience. Dr. T Naberhaus takes the time to explain procedures and treatments. He has a gift to make you feel reassured.

I made an appointment over a month ago for today, Oct 7 2025, in the morning. Using their website was easy and I appreciate how they kept messaging me with reminders about the upcoming appointment. When I was called by the receptionist to get checked in, she seemed frustrated about the fact she was unfamiliar with my insurance. I provided my insurance card and she told me "this is medical insurance and I need vision". I explained to her that my medical plan includes vision benefits. She was typing away on her computer, her bad attitude growing. She then seemed upset that she could not find me in their system, saying "we don't have an address, email, or any information from you". She then said that I was a new patient and have not provided any information beforehand. I told her that I made the appointment online and that I had filled out the form with all the information that was requested and never got a call about anything, so if anything was missing was probably due to a gap in their scheduling/operational processes. I also told her that on the website it says the practice accepts my insurance - to which she replied "we accept it as a medical, not as a vision insurance". I once again explained that vision benefits are covered under my medical plan. She then requested my ID and was finally able to locate me in the system - proof that I did what was required from me as a new patient. In order to help get things sorted, I told her to check in the next patient while I logged into my insurance account online to double check everything. Once she was done with that patient, she looked at me and said "Yes?" like I shouldn't be there somehow?! Anyways, I showed her the description of my vision benefits under the plan. I also showed her that the doctor I was scheduled with (Dr Gimmick) is currently listed as an in-network provider. Without dropping her annoyed attitude, she said she had to call their billing department. She spent less than 2 mints on the phone and then said she would not be able to figure out at that moment, she would need more than a day to do so. She then said she could reschedule me for OVER A MONTH LATER, which in my opinion is ridiculous - I have already been waiting over a month for this appointment and now because of their unpreparedness, I'll have to wait yet over a month again? I told her I would find another practice. I also told her that, while I understand none of the insurance issue is her fault, I did not appreciate her attitude. I did everything that was required from me and she was treating me like I was at fault somehow, making her morning more difficult than it needed to be on purpose. At no point I mistreated her nor was rude, from the start she seemed upset she had to be at work 8am in the morning and decided to take that on others. It was a terrible first impression of the practice and I do hope management sees this and provides this person with customer service training. She desperately needs to learn a couple of things when it comes to working with the public and the basics of hospitality.

They are very professional and thorough in their testing. Making sure they have full details in your care. I feel secure with Brevard Vision and Dr Boyle!

Absolutely love Brevard Vision Care, Wickham and Babcock locations. Dr. Boyle is the best. Has been seeing my family for decades now. Staff are great. They give great style advice and my glasses always fit perfectly.

I called the front office on Monday 11/17 saying I needed a medical appointment because I was experiencing vision loss and had a large black spot on the edge of my vision. They said the earliest I could be seen was that Friday 11/21. With having symptoms of vision loss and black spots in vision I was surprised it was not a more immediate appointment because of the severity, but I took their lack of alarm that maybe I was overreacting. When I finally have the medical appointment on Friday they confirmed that I had experienced a retina detachment and then was rushed to a retina specialist with surgery the next day. A retina detachment is very serious and I could have lost complete vision in that eye within the five days waiting to be seen. I don't know how I could have worded my symptoms to make it where I was seen promptly, but the lack of seriousness when someone is explaining vision loss and blackness is very alarming and could have had a horrible outcome.

Friendly employees and great professional care by Dr. Boyle. I called in the morning and said I had a problem with my eye and they fit me in within three hours. My whole family goes here when we have any eye needs.
