Aran Eye Associates - Coral Gables

I had an extremely disappointing experience with Aran Eye Associates, specifically the Coral Gables location. My initial appointment was scheduled at the Cutler Bay office, where I was seen, but I was later informed that they did not have the proper equipment to perform my eye procedure. As a result, I had to reschedule and wait nearly two months for an appointment at the Coral Gables office. I took time off work for this rescheduled appointment on January 13th at 1:30 PM and arrived 15 minutes early. Prior to the visit, I received a text message to verify my insurance, which showed as active and confirmed. Upon arrival, I provided my information to the medical assistant and waited approximately 45 minutes, only to be told that my insurance was suddenly showing as inactive. I immediately contacted my insurance company, resolved the issue within about 10 minutes, and attempted to email the verification information to the office so they could proceed. Despite this, I was informed that the doctor could not wait any longer and that I would need to reschedule yet again. The only available appointments were several months out. This was a complete waste of my time and workday. The lack of organization, poor communication, and unwillingness to accommodate a quickly resolved issue were extremely unprofessional. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this practice to anyone seeking reliable and efficient care

Very disappointing experience at the offices at Lejeune and 10th. I updated my insurance verbally and through their portal and was told it was accepted. Upon arriving for my appointment, I was told it was not. This lack of communication and organization wasted my time. Look for a better office.

I brought my mother here at 6:00 a.m., and it has been a terrible experience. They schedule many elderly patients for the same time and make them wait for hours without being seen. It feels completely disorganized and inconsiderate, especially for someone who is in their 80s. Older patients deserve respect, care, and compassion not to be treated like numbers. This place seriously needs to improve its scheduling and attention to patients.

Very organized and professional. My laser surgery on one eye has gone perfect. Going back to do the other next week. Highly recommended

Horrible horrible service!!!! I'd give you a triple minus 000 if I could! Your office cancelled my elderly mother's appointment 3 times without notifying us. This is totally unacceptable!!! I finally got a hold of someone in the call center after numerous attempts who told me that her appointment had been changed again. I told him this is unacceptable since I was never notified. I requested to speak to a manager and when they tried to transfer me, they hung up in the other department. My mother is diabetic and must see her doctor. My mother has been a patient for about 30 years! Furthermore, I had to drive 2 hours to reinstate her appointment, which they tried to change again the next day. Negligence at its best!!! I found out you guys have only 1 call center for 10 clinics! This is where the problem begins! Please be more considerate of your patients and hire more people and open more call centers! Train your employees properly in these call centers so they can provide the service that your patients deserve!!!! This behavior is unacceptable!!!!

I recently took my mother this clinic and we had a wonderful experience from start to finish. The staff was incredibly kind, professional, and patient with her. The doctor took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure my mom felt comfortable throughout the entire visit. The clinic is clean, well-organized, and runs efficiently we didn't have to wait long at all. They treated my mother with such care and respect, which meant a lot to our family. I highly recommend this clinic to anyone looking for expert eye care with a personal touch. Thank you for taking such good care of my mom!

My experience with Aran Eye Associates was extremely disappointing. The facilities are poorly maintained, with dirty bathrooms and unpleasant odors. Medical care is rushed and superficial--diagnoses are made quickly, and even the direct consultation with the doctor felt hurried, with little time to listen or properly examine the patient. Most concerning, I was diagnosed with presbyopia, and when I asked about surgical options, the doctor incorrectly told me "there aren't any," suggesting only glasses. This shows a lack of updated knowledge and commitment to patient care. Despite the rushed approach, I still waited over two hours to be seen, and staff admitted that one doctor sees up to 20 patients in the morning and 20 in the afternoon, which explains the poor quality. I will not return, and I strongly do not recommend this clinic. I will also be filing a formal complaint with the AHCA and the Florida Department of Health (MQA) regarding this experience.

I had an appointment on July 24th they changed it without telling me they put it in August.. I don't think these people care about the people that they're serving . I am going to have to cancel and move on and find a better place that considers the people and asks them if they want their appointment change instead of just going ahead and doing it. What they are doing is conveniently waiting for my eyes to go bad and then they will do surgery probably.. I really do not like the way these people operate their business....
