Horrible customer service. Its a shame as this Dr is very good. The problem is not the Dr, he is great. Its the staff that treat people with zero respect. I tried to tell the Dr before about the staff but he defended them. So i never went back. Today I called to refer a patient. Just because I know that he is very good. I called to make sure he was still at the same address and to ask if they took my friends insurance. They treated me so bad and so indifferent. Sadly, nothing has changed. Come here if you have thick skin and don't mind being treated badly.

It was a very pleasant visit today as first time patient with Dr. Batista. The staff is friendly, sent all the information needed before the appointment, including scheduled appointment to add in calendar, visit reminders and even information on possible patient's financial responsibility. Dr. Batista not only provided an exceptional service, but also very detailed explanations and recommendations related to my condition. I hope this is the first visit of many to come.

I have been a patient of Dr. Batista fro many years. He has always been very attentive and caring. Always willing to take time and explain anything. He is an excellent doctor. His staff is very nice and always attentive. They are wonderful people.

I have been a patient of Dr. Batista for over eight years. I recommend him 100%, he is the best!!! Dr. Batista is very professional, knowledgeable and caring. He has controlled my uveitis always with the best treatment and continuously follows up to ensure I get the best care. His staff is very professional and friendly, they always get me in right away and I never have to wait more than 10 minutes.

I will try to be very fair in my review. I have been a patient for years although various times I have wanted to move on. The only reason I stayed was because Dr Batista is a fine ophthalmologist, and I will always say that. However his practice is managed by rude people lacking empathy. Their driving force is money and it should be patient care. The staff is rude and uncaring as well. After being a patient for a while they refused to make an appointment for me unless I paid a small balance left over after surgery. They refused to make payment arrangements. I had to pay the amount in full in order to get an appointment. Yesterday my friend went to see the doctor for a yearly exam and she could not have her eyes dilated. She was told to tell the doctor and after seeing Dr Batista the appointment was rescheduled and they charged her a co-pay. The point is that the receptionist could have done that and avoid the co-payment. If you can deal with an office that will ask you for money if you are forced to reschedule and if you can overlook the rudeness, then you may be OK because I can't deny that Dr Batista is a good eye doctor. I am moving on to a more empathetic practice.

What a tremendous pleasure it was to be seen by Dr. Batista. His range of knowledge seemed inexhaustible! He is so professional and personable that he makes you feel that you are in the best possible hands for the care of your eyes. A friend recently asked me if I knew a good eye doctor and I said that I didn't. Now it will be a pleasure to go back to her and say, "Now I do, go to Doctor Batista!" God bless you Doctor Batista!

I have known Dr Batista for over 20 years and have been seeing him as a patient for about 18 years now . I am a physician myself and will not go to anyone else . He is an excellent Ophtalmologist , courteous , pleasant , extremely knowledgeable and great at what he does . My whole family sees him . Keep up the great work Dr batista

The staff is very polite & professional & Dr. Batista takes the time with his patients to explain conditions & answer questions they may have. Have been going to Dr. Batista since 2007 & have always had a wonderful experience.
