Dr. Wendy Batista

She is the rudest doctor that I've ever met in my life. Made me felt ignorant and third class citizen. Some people shouldn't be working with people if they don't like people. Never in my life have been to a doctor appointment and felt that I wanted to leave right away.

Terrible experience they do not state when you make the appointment that you are obligated to do the dilatation of your eyes. I went with my one and two year old ( not everyone has the luxury of having nannies and family in Miami) and had to leave ( obviously I cannot dilatate my eyes). Could you imagine, plus the florida statue states that you can choose not to do it , the optometrist just has to document that I chose not to. The front desk staff was rude. Will never come back!

I would give zero or even negative stars if that were an option. I had a scheduled appointment recently, and the front desk staff member "ISABELLE" was extremely rude. I usually arrive on time and wait about an hour to be seen, but on that particular day, I arrived 15 minutes late only to find out the doctor was not available. Despite there being no other customers, ISABELLE handled the situation very poorly and spoke in an unnecessarily harsh manner. This was an unprofessional and frustrating experience. Fortunately, I was able to find a much more professional clinic with a courteous doctor and receptionist for my future eye care.

Been coming here for years for my annual check up/ prescription update - Wendy is always amazing, helpful and with a smile on her face. I have astigmatism so contact brand was a bit of struggle for me at first and Wendy helped recommend a brand that has been my go to for the last few years. If you're in the Tamiami/ Sweetwater/ Flagler area and need an optometrist, look no further!!

STAY AWAY FROM THIS "doctor"! I asked the doctor if, while I wait for my new contact lenses to arrive, she could provide me with a temporary contact lens similar to the one she gave me during the test. Without even checking, she immediately said, "I don't have any!" and told me I'd need to wait two weeks for the new ones. This essentially translates to: "I don't care if you have to drive, work, walk, or be unable to see out of one eye for two weeks because the revenue from the contact lenses you bought isn't coming to me." If I were to take a new test, she would provide me with a temporary lens. However, since my prescription hasn't expired and she doesn't profit from my current order, she doesn't care to help. This lack of concern for patient well-being is deeply disappointing and unprofessional. Ps. This is not my first situation with this "doctor".

This is not a real Doctor.. she is the worst individual to check your eye sight. I honestly don't thing she is a real doctor. She is never accurate, I had to get my eyesight checked 3 times and my contacts were never right.. A big mess of a place.. I will do some digging on her license. She probably got it from a Cracker Jack box. She also tries to pursuade you to get other services that you don't need or want. She must get a commission. One star is tooo much, but to write a review you have to select it.

She can not get an accurate contact RX. Both me and my husband had issues with the contacts she prescribed the reading was way off. We changed provider
