Edward Beiner Eyewear at Mary Brickell Village

I had a deeply disappointing experience with Edward Beiner that raises serious concerns about how they handle rare inventory. I purchased a Jacques Marie Mage Casablanca Noir -- an extremely rare model -- after monitoring their site for a long time. The order was confirmed, charged, and physically shipped. UPS tracking shows a confirmed pickup scan in Miami, meaning the item was boxed and handed to UPS. The next day, Edward Beiner manually requested the package be returned to sender mid-transit, then informed me the order was canceled due to an "inventory discrepancy" and that the item was oversold. This was not a label-only situation -- a real unit was shipped and then intercepted. Calling this an inventory glitch after the item had already left their possession is misleading at best. From a customer perspective, this feels less like an error and more like a post-sale reallocation once they realized the demand or value of the item. While I was refunded, the way this was handled shows a lack of transparency and respect for customers, especially collectors purchasing hard-to-find luxury items. If an item is sold, charged, and shipped, it should be honored -- not pulled back quietly after the fact. I would not recommend purchasing any items from Edward Beiner unless you are prepared for the possibility that your confirmed order may be canceled even after shipment.

I've been coming here for years and it's hands down the best eye place I've ever been to. I've purchased three pairs of glasses -- all with custom lenses -- and also got my contacts here. I've had multiple eye exams over time, and every experience has been smooth, thorough, and professional. The customer service is exceptional -- the team is friendly, patient, and always goes above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect. I never feel rushed and they really take the time to explain things clearly. Highly recommend. 10/10

Great great service I needed new contacts and they were able to get new ones in 2 days while they gave me a temporal pair. I have complicated eyes and it's not very easy to find what I need, absolutely amazing, price was fair as well

Requested an appointment online and it turns out they didn't accept my insurance. What actually impressed me, however, was that they called and told me personally. Just very pleasant and "hands on". I really appreciate that as most doctor offices lack in customer service. Thank you for providing outstanding customer service!

I visited this morning to fix my new Cartier glasses, and I had a great experience. Ales was incredibly professional, kind, and generous. She cleaned and adjusted my glasses perfectly in just five minutes. Excellent service--highly recommended!

My review is 6 stars if i could, Dania and Alex were absolutely amazing. My father had left me a pair of Cartier Sunglasses that were almost 13 years old. Time had worn them down and they were loose all over and unwearable. I took them there and the fix them, replaced screws, hinges, and did a deep cleaning all for free! I wasnt expecting that at all. Now i get to use my fathers Sunglasses again and hopefully for many more years to come. Thank you Alex and Dania!!
