Dr. Jerry Hernandez and his staff are great. They are always there to keep our eyes sharp! If you want excellent eye care and treatment - I highly recommend Dr. Hernandez and Kendall Optical.

I had a great experience at Kendall Optical getting my first pair of glasses. The staff was incredibly patient and took the time to walk me through everything, which made the whole process feel comfortable and stress-free. Jerry the optometrist also did a thorough exam and checked my overall eye health, explaining things clearly along the way. I never felt rushed, and they made sure I felt confident in my choices. Truly a welcoming and professional place--I highly recommend Kendall Optical.

Dr. Hernandez is truly amazing, and I have absolutely no complaints about him as a doctor. Unfortunately, my experience with one member of his staff has been very disappointing. On 01/06/2025, I called the office after receiving a voicemail asking me to reschedule my appointment. The staff member who answered the phone was extremely rude and unprofessional. This is not the first time I've had an unpleasant interaction with this individual, which ultimately led me to decide not to continue attending the clinic. I consider myself a very patient and passive person, but the lack of basic courtesy made the situation unacceptable. Unfortunately, I did not catch her name, and I want to be clear that the rest of the staff I've encountered have been friendly and professional. This review is not meant to reflect on the entire team. It's truly a shame to have to stop seeing a great doctor due to repeated negative interactions with front office staff. People skills matter, especially in a healthcare setting.

Jerry Hernandez and his team are fantastic. My youngest son got an eye infection over the Thanksgiving break. I texted Dr. Hernandez on the Wednesday afternoon before thanksgiving. He texted back immediately with what to do, what to use, and then followed up the next two days, including Thanksgiving, and even offered to open up on the holiday to see my son's eye. Thankfully we did not need to have him come in but its always great to know that we could have.

I am a new patient of Dr Hernandez and couldn't be more impressed with the professionalism, friendly and expert in his field. His staff is efficient, friendly and professional. I highly recommend Dr Hernandez.

Whenever I have the opportunity to recommend KOC to someone looking for a good optometrist and staff I do so. I have found KOC to always be proficient, professional, friendly and welcoming. I trust the services I receive here. It was very important to me to find a quality practice after being a long-time patient when my prior optometrist finally retired.

Dr. Hernandez and his staff are the best. Very professional, helpful, and competent. They also possess top of the line equipment. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a good optometrist and optical service.

Dr. Hernandez has been fitting my wife with sclera lenses for years. He is the absolute best at what he does. Her vision has been very challenging for years. With his expertise she is a very happy lady.
