The attention at this office is truly exceptional. From the moment you walk in, the experience is quick, smooth, and incredibly welcoming. The doctor takes her time with every patient -- no rushing, no pressure, and every question is encouraged. Her explanations are clear and thorough, which makes the whole visit feel easy and stress-free. Dr. Fischer is amazing with kids, patient, gentle, and knows exactly how to make them feel comfortable and understood. It's rare to find a place that combines efficiency with such genuine care, but this office does it beautifully. Highly recommended.

I recently visited this office for my daughter's eye exam and left feeling uncomfortable. Before returning in person, I called to confirm details because the office is far from my home. During that call, I was told they could not find my daughter in the system. This has now happened twice. However, when I went in person and provided my ID, they were able to locate our file without issue. This inconsistency was confusing and concerning. My daughter is seven years old and Spanish is her first language. She is still learning English and can become nervous during exams. During the vision test, the doctor appeared rushed and repeatedly changed the screen when my daughter did not respond quickly enough, which increased her anxiety. When I mentioned that my daughter seemed nervous, the doctor responded with a light laugh and said she did not appear nervous. The tone felt dismissive. I was simply trying to explain that my child needed patience and a slower pace. Children, especially those still learning English, may require extra time during testing. Although the pricing was explained to me, I was surprised by the total. I was told the first visit included a discount and that this time there was no discount. However, the amount was similar to what I personally paid for my own high-prescription lenses. Since my daughter's prescription is not as strong as mine, I found that confusing and chose not to move forward with the purchase that day. After reconsidering, I decided to try placing the order with the same office. In the past, I had an experience where I obtained a prescription from one location and purchased glasses elsewhere. The prescription turned out to be too strong, and I was unable to receive a proper refund, which resulted in a loss of time and money. For that reason, I prefer to order glasses from the same place that performs the exam. Unfortunately, I was told I would receive a call back regarding the order, but I never did. I have called multiple times since without being able to reach anyone. I am giving three stars because my first experience at this office was positive. However, this recent visit and lack of follow-up were disappointing. I hope improvements are made in communication, patience with children, and record management.

Highly recommend Dr. Fischer for her attention to detail, bedside manners, and way of going out of her way to exceed expectations. She spent extra time going above and beyond in answering my questions and explaining everything. She is great with kids as well, per how I saw her interact with a mother who brought in her 4 children.

INCREDIBLE! Came in with an eye injury and I also needed new glasses until I could wear my contacts again after healing. They treated my eye, got me into some great glasses same day and even fitted them again a month later for free. Recommended 10/10 (side note, Its kinda hard for me to communicate with some doctors across Miami but they're TRULY bi-lingual, English or Spanish here)

I know it won't matter to most, but for me, it was amazing to have handicap parking right in front of their door! Everyone in the practice is polite and caring. Wait time is short. The doctor is fantastic! She went above and beyond for our daughter. And they made the process of getting her new glasses a breeze. We as the parents, will be making our own appointments next!

La Chica Lis at the Bird Rd Optical makes the difference! I first bought my daughter's sunglasses at the Flagler location, and I was never told that I had 30 days in case any changes or adjustments were needed. They only offered me one frame option, tried only one size on my daughter's face, and even the frame color was incorrect. Then I met Lis at the Bird Rd Optical, and she completely changed my experience. She is patient, professional, and truly cares about finding the right fit and style. She took her time to make sure everything was perfect for my daughter. You can really tell she loves what she does. If you go to this optical, ask for Lis, she's the one who makes all the difference!

Dr Fischer was amazing with my son. He felt comfortable and was not scared during his exam. Highly recommend her especially if you have a child with special needs.
