I came here without many expectations, mainly because it was convenient for me. However, I ended up having a great experience. Dr. Lopez was very thorough, explained everything clearly, and gave me detailed information about my eyes. The service from the lady in the glasses room was excellent as well--she was very patient and helped me choose the right pair, which isn't easy when there are so many options. I recommend this place 100%.

Underqualified, generally. Dec. 20 broke the frame of my reading glasses and went for eye test and order NEW glasses with frame. Requested URGENT. 12/27/25 advised that glasses had arrived. BUT, They had placed the WRONG lenses in my frames!? They apologized and said it was due to Holliday rush and would take care of it. (This was 12/27/25) today 1/24/26 I picked up my glasses (one month later) and was told that they had arrived yesterday 1/23/26. I was never called to advise that my glasses were ready? This place in UNDERSTAFFED with people who mean well but are either overworked, unqualified or just don't care. THEY ARE DANGEROUS. Use other reputable outlets. Meanwhile I had to go to another outlet and get another pair in 3 days.

I purchased my glasses at Americans best for $300. When I went back over there and I told him that my glasses didn't fit. If they can adjust it. The only thing they did was tighten the screws but I came over here and they didn't just tighten my screws, but they adjusted my Entire frame. I will choose this place over Anything, anytime Any Day.

I didn't have a full appointment, but rather just a passing issue with one of my contacts. The staff were amazing, listened to my issue and extremely helpful with making sure I was able to flush my eyes and contacts so the immediate pain was gone before I left. Saved my day!

I used to go as a kid and I always loved it. I went back recently after several years and it was nice to see most of the old staff still there. All the staff is extremely friendly and helpful! One of my favorite things is if you go for contact's they give you a free pair to try on and recheck your eyes to make sure they fit well and comfortable which no eye doctor has ever done, and will even teach you how to put them on for first timers. They also carry boxes of contacts so most people don't have to wait and order them. They honestly deserve 5 stars!! My wife and I have found our family eye doctor!! Thank you Optica Lopez!!! A++++++

Worse experience ever. I came in and no one offered to help. The glasses are way overpriced, and I even saw the staff being rude to another customer. Very unprofessional. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

10/14/24 About 6 weeks I had no choice but I had to go to Bascom Palmer EYE institute, (worst decision ever!!) I was there for over 16 hours! My left eye was cloudy and I would see a rainbow around lights. They brushed me off and told me to go get bloodwork done! No eye drops, nothing! I waited another week (another bad decision) but I knew something was wrong, my brother took me to Dr Lopez (I couldn't even drive!) When he saw me he could not believe my situation! I was having a serious issue with my cornea. He gave me drops, I couldn't work for 3 weeks . He saw me every week first twice then once. Today was my last visit I am so grateful to this Dr. and his staff. Attentive, caring and amazing service. Amazing eye Dr and staff. Daniel's customer service is above and beyond. Love him!! Thank you

This is the best optical in all of Miami. Ive been coming here for about tens years . Amazing staff , amazing doctor and just great vibes all around . thank you
