Great doctor, HOWEVER, I don't appreciate having to wait over 1 hour to get past the lobby area to go into another waiting area. The waiting time is ridiculously long and the staff is not apologetic at all. This will be my second and last visit. I may not be a doctor, but my time is just as valuable as the doctors!

Dr Sabates is one of the best doctors that I have had the privilege of seeing. He is not just a great ophthalmologist-surgeon but a great Physician.
He is very personable , carrying, and extremely knowledgeable. He remembers you and your clinical history perfectly. Dr. Sabates is a doctor that loves his profession and what doctors that loved their craft used to be like. I highly recommend him and hope that he will always be my Ophthalmologist.

Both my wife and I had cataract surgery with Dr. Mario Sabates . The entire process was an excellent experience. Never waited more then a couple of minutes in the waiting area and the entire staff was courteous and professional. Dr. Sabates is a thoughtful doctor who really gets to know his patients in order to arrive at the best possible outcome. Both our procedures went flawlessly. I would strongly recommend him to anyone who is looking for great ophthalmologist.

It's often said, " Doctors make the worst patients", I know this because I am a doctor. When we have a surgical procedure, we are more frightened, more anxious and have more questions. Dr Mario Sabates and his staff are excellent. They have state of the art equipment and a knowledgeable group of technicians and assistants. And most importantly, they care about their patients. My husband and I have been patients of Dr. Sabates for 15 years and wouldn't trust our vision to any other Opthomologist. In 2016, Dr Sabates discovered some unusual changes to my Optic Nerves, and thanks to him I still have my vision intact. He is a true professional in his field.

Office is crowded, staff are in a rush and aren't patience at all with the patients. Doctor doesn't have enough knowledge in my opinion, based on the comment that he maid on my prior prescription, I need glasses for the computer and for reading and he said I didn't need them and they are a waste of money. Of course, I feel better using them and I went there because now my eyes are not seeing the same than before and he just told me to buy some drops so at this point I don't even thing that the tests they did run were good and accurate. Never again.

I have been a patient of Dr. Mario Sabates for a little over 20 years when he diagnosed me with a rare eye disease called ICE Syndrome. After much caring due to the complexities of the disease, and two successful corneal transplants performed by Dr Sabates, the progression has been managed as best as could be expected. Dr Sabates' high intellect coupled with his extremely steady hands make him a surgeon everyone should seek out.
His office staff and team of Doctors are knowledgeable, courteous and a pleasure to deal with. I highly recommend him to everyone for anything as simple as an eye examination to a complex surgical procedure.

Dr. Sabates operated on both of my eyes for cataract sugery. 20=20 on both eyes now and I don't need reading glasses!!! When you go to his office for an appointment they check your eyes with both Digital and tradicional eye exam, this is remarkable treatment for all patients. He is very thorough from the moment you arrive in his office and through post surgery. From a scale of 1 to 100 I give him 110..... He has a huge heart and it extends throughout his staff !!!
