My granddaughter had surgery at 6 months old for a cataract on her right eye, for us was a shocking news because no one in the family had that, seeing our little princess going through that was big, after surgery we were referred to, see Dr. Susanna Tamkins she was going to be the doctor in charge of making our princess eye the best she could be , it is a long journey and at times can be hard to see your baby cry because they don't want to patch or don't want to use her glasses, is all about team work knowing that at the end of this journey our precious one will have the best eyesight possible. It is so important to have trust and a good communication with the Dr. that is going to be working with you to meet that goal, I do not have the words to thank Dr. Susanna Tamkins for her dedication, her patience with us when we have any questions, she is so ready to explain, for encouraging words every time we see her and most important for the way she treats our baby girl, she takes her time, she makes sure she got the correct measurements for her contact , is a pleasure see someone doing what they like with love and that is something Dr. Tamkins transmits every time we see her and for that I thank you Dr. Tamkins. ! I wish more Doctors were like her.

We recommend Dr. Tamkins as a highly competent and trustworthy doctor. Two of our four children were born with physical defects in their eyes. Within their first year of life, Dr. Tamkins properly diagnosed the issues and referred us to specialists who could bring resolution. My family feels so thankful for Dr. Tamkins' level of skill, along with her bedside manner. She continues to take great care of our children, making them feel at ease, and providing accessible answers to all of our questions. She takes her time with us, helps us, and shows us the physical and emotional care that we need with our young children. I fully recommend Dr. Tamkins without any reservation for anyone looking for a pediatric optometrist.

long wait times even as the first patient of the day. impossible to reach the doctor or get any of her staff on the phone. super disappointed
