Vision Unlimited at KC

Mari and Samira are extremely unprofessional and discriminating. They assumed I didnt speak Spanish and treated me with such little respect. I was polite and well mannered even while asking questions. They proceeded to roll their eyes while speaking to me and spoke in Spanish. In the end I asked for their names in Spanish and their demeanor changed. Its sad to see those 2 ladies at their age treating people that way especially in today's economy. They need to a professional training or give someone else the opportunity to work who would treat clients with respect as everyone deserve.

I came to Vision Unlimited today and the person at the front desk, Gael, impressed me to the best. He is very young. However, he is very respectful, professional and knowledgeable. He is awesome. I rarely encounter people as smart and professional as he is. That's why I am writing this review for him. I never saw him looking at his personal cell phone giving a bad impression. He is excellent and you are very lucky to have him.

Horrible experience I ordered my glasses on Dec 6/2025 and after many calls (on January15 2026) then tell me that I need to pay extra for the frames. Of course I won't pay so a that point all I want was my glasses .I just tell the person I charge of the safety glasses " just give me whatever under my Company allowance, just get my glasses , f you told me from the beginning about extra pay of course I don't mind extra 25dls" Never again

The staff are friendly and nice but unfortunately the number for customer service is beyond horrible. Not only did they constantly give me the wrong time of their open hours, but they were extremely rude in tone and didn't help me whatsoever. They kept telling me the office is open 2-6 on days they were open 9-5. on days they told me the clinic was open, they were actually closed. I kept missing work trying to fit into what the customer service representative was telling me to pick up my glasses. amazing in person staff but on phone it's horrific. save yourself time and just make an appointment, even if it's to pick up your glasses. on top of that, they have a sign at the front of their door it's hours that just isn't true. again, save yourself the stress and confusion and just make an appointment.

It's a modern and clean office. I was told by one of their staff members that they only have designer glasses so anything you pick will be at a higher price. Unfortunately, I didn't have the best experience at this location. Not sure if the other locations are any better. We were misinformed and had to return the pair of glasses we ordered. They didn't make this an easy task. This is unfortunate because so much time and headache could have been avoided. Their call center is probably what made things so much more aggravating. A rude male with a bad attitude answered the phone on numerous occasions. I tried to get a hold of someone who works at the actual office location but according to him, that's an impossible task. There's no way to connect to any staff members. You need to speak directly to their call center and wait for a callback. Or simply show up in person. Which is what I was told and had to do. I think it's simply all a matter of better training. No, I would not use this location again. Perhaps others will have better luck.

I had a very disappointing experience at Vision Unlimited. My appointment with Dr. Mario I. Carcamo felt rushed and unprofessional -- he came in wearing AirPods, didn't greet me, and during the eye exam actually said "ew" when looking at my eyes through the machine because they were clogged with oil. Instead of explaining my options in a professional or empathetic way, I was immediately offered an expensive eye wash service that was not covered by my insurance. The clinic heavily promotes "luxury" services that are not essential, and there was little to no transparency about pricing. After I had already paid, I was told there were no refunds, and no one apologized or took accountability for the miscommunication. The staff seemed disorganized and were not consistent in what they told me about pricing or treatment options. This is not the kind of care you expect when trusting someone with your eye health. I would recommend going to a smaller, family-run optometry practice where you can get clear communication, compassionate care, and feel like a valued patient rather than just a source of revenue.

The eye doctor and the stuff are awesome. They accommodated my busy schedule and made the process easy and comfortable. Made appointments for the whole family. Keep up the great job!

I had a great experience at this center, the place is super clean and all the staff is very attentive respectful, and knowledgeable, specially Beatriz, she is the technician that did the procedure I needed. I recommend this office 100% . Thank you
