Very bad attitude from the people who serve me. The doctor was nice the day of the exam, but this second time, "maybe she was a little tired." Those who served me next door, I went to buy a month's supply of contact lenses, and the woman only wanted to sell me six months. She was so insistent that I ordered my lenses online, which was cheaper, and left.
My son stopped by to adjust his glasses, and he had a wonderful experience. He was greeted by Aura and she re-adjusted both his regular glasses and his sunglasses. She was kind, friendly, and she even made sure his lens were perfectly cleaned. Any time we have a problem with our glasses, we will be coming back here. Thank you so much.
The phone customer service was polite and helpful, with appointment availability. However, when I arrived at the facility, there was no one at the front window. If staff members are away, especially for lunch, there should be a clear sign posted and the window should be closed to avoid confusion.
The staff on the eyewear side eventually explained their absence, which I appreciated, but the lack of communication was frustrating. No lunch sign, no staff in sight--this is not something I've encountered at other Walmart Vision Centers, and it's not acceptable. After telling them I waited for about an hour there were no apologies or sense of care.
I will add that Dr. Glen was good at what she does.
Also, be aware that while the front desk staff may speak English, you may hear Spanish spoken while in front of you. If that makes you uncomfortable, consider it.
The glasses department has good customer service skills.
Also, on the bright side, this is good for Spanish speakers. The sales department has an associate named Lola who speaks Kreyol and Spanish. She was great. She works with Nicolas. They are both professionals, who are, kind, and patient. If it were just their department this would have been a 5/5.

My mom and I went to pick out new frames for my glasses at Walmart with David Blake for the 2nd time, about 5 months ago (unfortunately I forgot to write the review, but better late than never). David has always been so helpful, patient, and always provides the best option for the customer. He deserves more than just 5 stars on google maps! 10/10 customer service.
I went in today Friday, 17th I got 2 pair of prescription glasses from them one of them were super lose so I went to get them fix so they could fit me better but the young lady there made them worst on my drive back home this happened, my glass leg little fell off idk if she didn't screw them properly or what but smh what I do now ? Literally only had them for a month quality has gone down the drain with you guys I've always gotten my glasses here but this might be the last time
They perform all the necessary testing so it makes you feel very comfortable they are experienced and doing the right thing. My only issue was payment at the end of my visit but it wasn't even their fault it is because of my cheap insurance. I had to literally pay a co-pay, then pay for the glasses and the lenses as well. First time I had to pay for lenses (the actual prescription) I thought that was part of the examination but all in all I would definitely return like I stated it is not their fault as they are very attentive, helpful and patient.
Optometry is chock full of cheap hucksters and snake oil salesmen but these people take the cake. I forgot my contact lenses at home before leaving on a cruise the following day. Due to the fact that my annual prescription had expired I had to have an exam. My prescription was raised by -.50 to give me 15/20 vision when I insisted I would rather stick with my original correction. I was kept waiting an hour just to see the "doctor." The exam took an hour as the optometrist tried to sell me some new hard lenses that one wears at nice to reshape the cornea. I declined and was moved to the sales department to get my lenses. I was kept waiting another hour while the sales staff tried to get a new RX filled so I could leave the store with a different brand of daily lenses. After an hour of waiting on the doctor I just got up and left.
Two months later, I'm trying to get a copy of prescription. They won't email it to me. Another Walmart vision center told me that "Walmart doesn't have a "secure email system" set up to dispense prescriptions for glasses or contacts. After going back and forth with the office for more than a week, I'm now out of lenses, and my eye is red from wearing some junk lenses they sold me. Just more crooks in white coats.
The optical SUCKS! Don't go there, they couldn't give me the measurements for some dental loupes that I need ASAP, they didn't even care to help me. I called before to make sure that they could help me and the person said to come before 7:30pm.
Really BAD costumer service and the people who I spoke with were rude
