Mid Florida Eye Center

I checked in at the kiosk which was easy to use and effective . The wait in the comfortable lobby was maybe 15-20 minutes before I was called in for the exam which went smoothly. Then I was asked to wait in a small seating area to see Dr. Weppleman. The doctor was quick, professional, friendly and a refreshing burst of energy! I was pleased by the pleasant atmosphere and efficient staff. I highly recommend Mid Florida Eye Center.

This is my first time at this office and I have to say I was absolutely thrilled. There's very little wait time I was on time for my appointment everybody was super friendly. Very impressed with the doctor. She was very very thorough and understood my needs.

I went in for an annual eye exam as I have done numerous times previously. I had the opportunity and pleasure of having of some of the prepping done by Julia and Diane. The best experience I have ever had at this facility. They made the experience very calming, treating me as if they had worked with me before (first time meeting the both of them). I also saw one of the newer doctors at the facility (Dr. Misch); she too was very pleasant and courteous.

It was quick it was easy the staff was very professional. The doctor was easy to talk to explain everything to me answered all my questions. I was at ease and that's rare because I'm not really at ease with people that I don't know. The wait time was hardly at all. I enjoyed my experience and can't wait to get my surgery done

I truly cannot say enough about this amazing place! First, Julie is amazing and made me feel so comfortable and at peace. Lori and the young lady that was Trainjng was also very kind. Dr. Panzo was very knowledgeable, friendly and made me feel at ease with his expertise! I cannot thank the staff enough for a great appointment! I'd recommend them to anyone!

I was happy with my annual eye exam. Everything was explained to me by Heather before it started. Then Heather and Lori did the preliminary steps. After that I saw Dr. Maizel, who I have seen for the last 10 years. I like him because he is thorough and also has a great bedside manner. Also, I was happy because my 9:00 appointment began almost at 9:00 exactly, unlike many other doctors where you wait forever. I gladly recommend Mid-Florida Eye.

Was greeted by Julia's smile. Made me feel very welcome. Wait time was as usual so no problem there. Dr. Plum made me feel he would be there for me and take care of my eye issue. Made another appointment.

visited Dr Plum because I have had fuzzy vision for a few months. I waited only a few minutes in the waiting room before I was called back. Traci did a fabulous job thoroughly checking my eyes and my paperwork, taking time to explain things. She took time to ask the details of a concussion I had, then tested my eyes to see if the concussion caused my eyes to not line up correctly. One test indicated my eyes may not be in alignment and she wrote down a recommendation that I see their doctor who specializes in this. I would give Traci a 5. She obviously knows and loves her job and working with people. The next woman, whose name I can't recall, also was very thorough and personable. A short wait later, Dr Plum came in. I was disappointed that he spent very little time and seemed to mainly be interested in whether I needed cataract surgery. He diagnosed me as having dry eyes, which I suspected already, and he plugged my tear ducts and gave me some helpful written instructions. But he didn't heed Traci's recommendation that I see the specialist about my eyes being misaligned. Instead he said if I follow the dry eyes regimen for six months and still have fuzzy vision, then I can see the specialist for eye alignment. Why do I want to wait six more months with poor vision, when one of Traci's tests indicated my eyes are probably misaligned as well as the dry eyes? He set me on the right path for the dry eyes, but I am no further ahead in diagnosing the possible misalignment Traci found. I think he can be very thankful to have staff like Traci who make patients feel they got their money's worth.
