America's Best Contacts & Eyeglasses

David is truly a keeper. My husband had many questions and concerns while picking up his first pair of glasses, and David handled everything with incredible patience, kindness, and clear communication. His customer service skills are some of the best I've ever experienced. He genuinely cares that patients feel heard and have a positive experience from the moment they walk in the door. During our visit, David took a phone call from a woman who had lost her purse and believed she left it at the store. He repeatedly searched for it and spoke to her with such empathy and understanding. Once he found the purse, he even offered to stay after hours so she wouldn't feel rushed getting there. David is a gem. Customer service like this is rare, and I truly hope America's Best recognizes and appreciates his talent as much as we did that evening. The skills David demonstrated can't be taught.

I'm pretty dissatisfied with my experience with the doctor (I think her name was Dr. Huyen). I came in for a medical eye appointment with a suspected eye infection due to a lash extension appointment that left me with very red and irritated eyes and I was met with an odd level of rudeness from the doctor. After checking my eyes, She shamed me by telling me my eyelashes were very dirty and that I should get the extensions removed. And then after she told me I in fact did have an eye infection and I needed to use an ointment twice a day (once in the morning and once at night) that would make my vision blurry, I simply asked her nicely if it would be possible to get a doctors note, not to take off from work, but to note i should work from home for a couple days. I asked because of how red and puffy my eyes appeared and I just really don't want to have to go into the office looking like this. I also don't know how I'm going to drive 30 minutes to my office with blurry vision in the morning. She responded by blatantly just laughing while saying no. I don't think that woman has any compassion and I really hated that experience. She told me to come see her again in seven days but there's no way I'm going back. I'll be going somewhere else to get my eyes checked again...

If I could give zero stars I would. The "professional" at the front desk checking people in had horrible, absolutely horrible customer service. I believe her name was Aiya. Her knowledge of insurance was not in use today because she had absolutely no idea what we were talking about when we explained to her several times that this specific location was listed on our specific insurance plan as an in network provider and offered no apologies or solution. She spoke with the manager who did not even present herself to try to understand the situation, she ran off into the back. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! Do not recommend! If this was the customer service from front office, I cannot even imagine what back office is like.

I walked in to inquire about gettin a scratch on my lens taken care of, and I believe the manager who was supposed to assist me told the tech wait a while so he could stand around and talk about nothing with a customer. He should be setting better examples to his staff in customer service. I just left and will return another time. Hopefully it would be someone a little more customer assistance driven....

I brought in FOUR pairs of glasses and the associate took ALOT of time helping me adjust, clean, and swap out noses pieces of each pair. She was so helpful!

This has been the most difficult eye experience I have ever had. The amount of errors by the lab and the doctor. They had to make my glasses 3 times and treated me like I was the problem. The customer service by the ladies in the store is atrocious. The 2 gentlemen that took care of me are the saving grace of this office. I wish Pair Eyewear was partnered with Visionworks or LensCrafters.

I love this optometrist! Every visit feels like coming home--they treat me like family. The staff is incredibly kind and welcoming. I've been here about three times in the past eight years, mainly because I'm a part-time klutz. I lose my glasses, find them, and then accidentally break them. Seriously, though, this is one of the best places I've visited in Orlando over the past decade. I've been meaning to leave a review for a while but kept putting it off--my apologies for that! I can't say enough about how heartwarming and professional the staff is, not just among optometrists but at any doctor's office. You can't go wrong choosing America's Best. The prices are as affordable as advertised and recommended by friends and family, so your wallet will thank you too! I hope you have just as warm and wonderful an experience at this America's Best location as I did. Sincerely, Andre Taylor
