Dr. Yip first saw me at his prior office, I have to say I was impressed and in awe at how caring and specific he was. He was clear and precise on explaining what I needed and why. I felt heard and seen when he explained my situation and didn't treat it as another prescription or another appt. I followed him to his new practice because Quality and Integrity in the medical fields are hard to find. I drive all the way from Harmony to see him. I feel truly taken care of and not like another number or bill. His staff are friendly, kind, always willing to serve its seriously a pleasure stoping by. Thank you Dr.Yip !

VERY high pressure sales on the glasses and it's very uncomfortable. The front office only seems to care about taking your money and refuses ANY changes to an order. There is a strict no return and no refund policy and there are NO exceptions. The glasses/frames are way overpriced and they convinced me that I needed two pairs, one for computer and one for progressive. They are very rude and they do not return phone calls when there is a problem with the order. It's sad because Dr Yip is an amazing Doctor and very nice person.

My experience was terrible. It's clear they are only there for the money, driven by the pressure to sell specific, high-end products. My problems started right away: Unwanted Sales Pressure: I specifically told Dr Yip, that I was just looking for bifocals. He immediately started pushing progressive lenses. I explained I had tried progressives before and they didn't work for me, but he insisted, talking up how his company's lenses were "top-engineered." I finally picked up the glasses, and something felt immediately wrong. They dismissed my concern, saying, "you just need to get used to them." The glasses were so off that I returned and told them the measurements were completely wrong. Dr. Yip finally re-measured, and I was right--he had no excuse. The initial measurements were all off. Instead of fixing my progressive lenses, He then advised me to switch to bifocals and buy a second pair of glasses for distance. I confronted him: "You pressured me into buying expensive progressive lenses, and now you want me to buy a second pair? No. You need to put the correct measurements on the glasses I already paid for." He eventually did the job correctly, and the glasses are now fine. Don't waste your time or money here.

Update: Phones need improvement or a more knowledgeable person answering the phones absolutely love Dr. Yip! He is incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and thorough. What sets him apart is how he truly cares for the patient as a whole--not just their vision. His insights on nutrition, Blue Zones, and overall wellness are outstanding. I always leave my appointments feeling well taken care of and more informed about my health. His staff is also incredible--warm, professional, and always helpful. I can't recommend Dr. Yip and his team enough!

The atmosphere & energy is primarily why (aside from great service) I come back. It's just very welcoming & everybody seems to actually care about you & what they do. They are going into a new office & im excited to see the private practice in action. Saturday 12/28/24 there was an event for people to take advantage of there insurance and get glasses and frames before the new year. Lourdes, Dr. Yip & some representatives they had for glasses that'll be at the new office, they ALL were great & it was a fantastic time. Raffled off wine & some free glasses just a great time. Dr Yip & the crew are a pleasure to be around & they keep up to date with things & seem too be on top of things & more than capable to handle it. Dr. Yip has been in the business for 20 years or so & the times I've had been with him he's been descriptive & informative with the way not only my eyes work & how the effects change. Professional and personable as well, he cares about his employees as much as he does his patients that connect just as much as his partner Lourdes does. I can go on & on about everybody that works there but the point is give them a shot if you haven't, they'll make your experience a good time instead of a mediocre one.

Definitely my favorite doctor, Dr. Yip is personable and professional. Takes his time to explain what is happening with my eyes and what he is doing to help me with my vision. Everyone in the store is very kind. Chris and Jordan were very courteous and made it a pleasant time. Can't wait for the new store, i actually had fun at the eye doctor.

Lack of professionalism and ethics. Instead of being considerate they pressured the sale on a college student who didn't feel like he could opt out. Then refused to amend or cancel the order.

Fantastic optometrist and staff. I needed new eyewear to meet an active lifestyle and Lourdes and Daisy worked with me till we found the right solution. And there were many options to select from. I wish I had seen them in past years. Never once did I feel rushed or a salesy environment. If you're looking to care for your eyes long term, come here. They make every patient feel important and like family. As I was there and there were other patients, I could see clearly how much the whole staff cares about each other and patients. I'll be back for sure. Thank you Dr Yip and team!
