This was the worst eye exam of my 40-plus years wearing glasses. I went here because my longtime eye doctor retired. The office is literally freezing and boring. When I was in the exam room waiting for the doctor, I could overhear here him berating and yelling at one of his staff. "This is UNBELIEVABLE!" He screamed as he stormed past the room I was in. It was very uncomfortable. When he finally came in to examine me, he didn't want to here me out or listen to any of my concerns, he ran through the motions as fast as he could and was done. I ended up ordering my glasses elsewhere because Visionworks wanted nearly $600 for my prescription glasses. I decided to check prices at Target and Costco. I ended up getting glasses with the same high-index progressive lenses for less than $150. But when my new glasses arrived, my vision was fuzzy. After trying several adjustments, I decided to get a second examine and found out the prescription James Williams gave me was WRONG. Save your money and time, go to an eye doctor who treats his staff with respect and doesn't rush through an examine so you end up with a proper prescription. The only good news is that even after paying for second exam out of pocket, I still saved money versus what Williams and Visionworks quoted me at.

I love this doctor, unfortunately I need to find a new optometrist because of the office crew. They wasted my time trying to get an appointment. I went in person & showed them my insurance card after a long wait at the counter & being shuffled off to the eyeglass receptionist. They said everything was good & I asked again to be sure my insurance was taken, because the other lady said they might not take it. When I showed up for my appointment a week later, they told me they don't take my insurance, & basically tough luck for driving across town for a useless appointment. I really like the doctor though. He was very thorough on my last appointment with him.

I never write reviews. I had an eye exam appointment for 2:00 pm. I made it on time and had people in front of me in line and waited patiently. They took the others including the other 2:00 pm. Once I got to speak to the assistants, I was told I wasn't in the schedule. The other assistant listed me as a no show. They removed my appointment and then told me to come back the next day. Absolute horrible service.

Cannot believe an eye doctor refused to see me when I told him the contacts HE finalized the prescription for, were an incorrect prescription. I get my case was not the easiest...but you're literally in the business of helping people see and just absolutely refused to help. I forget the female doctor's name that works with you, but she is far better and incredibly nice. Also, your office staff are incredibly rude and are so disorganized. Needless to say, I highly recommend going to another optometrist...they are a churn-them-and-burn-them facility.

Outstanding experience! My daughter, who is 3 years old, has been to multiple doctors for eye check-ups but it wasn't until we met with Dr. Williams that we discovered she has eye problems that could impede her development. After a thorough examination and patient explanation, Dr. Williams got us the help we needed. Exceptional work ethic and friendly.

Great eye doctor, pleasant and very knowledgeable. He helped me find contacts that are more comfortable than what I was previously wearing. Definitely recommend!
