Dr. Victor B. Thomas, MD

I waited 1 1/2 hours to see the doctor for an 8-minute consultation. From the number of people in his waiting room, he clearly over books his appointments. He did look at my eye under the microscope but either misdiagnosed it or prescribed something that had no effect on my issue. Before I left the office, the receptionist insisted I schedule a follow up visit which I canceled when I got home. (Wasn't going to wait another 1 1/2 to see the doctor). About 2 weeks after canceling my appointment, I received a form letter from the office saying that I had canceled my appointment and that I should reschedule as "permanent damage may occur, resulting in visual loss or blindness. Kindly realize this letter is not meant to alarm you." Talk about scare tactics, this should be illegal.

Dr. Thomas is wonderful. He's very kind, caring and attentive. He's very intelligent and really listens to your concerns.

I highly recommend Dr. Thomas to anyone in need of a specialized ophthalmologist. As an RN I am impressed with great infection control while providing care and as a patient his knowledge and sharing all treatments available benefits vs. risks and cost. He is willing to give you all the necessary time you need .Thank you Dr. Thomas for providing excellent care!

Dr. Thomas is top notch! Been seeing him for over 10 years now and would never think of trusting anyone else. He is part of a wonderful practice and the office staff always goes above and beyond what is needed. True customer service and always caring about my needs as a patient. I highly recommend you will not be disappointed!

So happy I was referred to Dr. Victor B. Thomas for my eye problem. Dr. Thomas is very knowledgeable and through explaining every part of your eye exam to resolve your eye care issues. In my case he delicately removed a tiny foreign object that was causing my eye to be red with some pain and blurred vision. Dr. Thomas was very impressive to remove such a small object with precision. This alone made my day and was blessed to find a great eye care doctor. I highly recommend Dr. Thomas for you eye care needs. He has a friendly attitude and is a no nonsense person. He will follow up if needed to be sure your eye/eyes are in good health. While Dr. Thomas is excellent his staff are frustrating to deal with. I requested medical records be sent by leaving messages 4 times, was never called back. This went on for over a month. All I wanted to do was get my medical records sent to a specialist. The staff claimed I never sent my release form in but I have the fax confirmation of having sent it in. I had to send the release form AGAIN! They assured me they would call to confirm receipt of the release form and instructions on where to send my records. They never did! Today, 6th phone call, the receptionist assures me her supervisor will take care of it, but it could take up to 48 hours. Again Dr. Thomas is excellent and I can highly recommend him as an opthamologist. If he can get some decent help this will be a top notch organization.

Dr Victor Thamas by far is the best Doctor/Surgeon there is. I would had giving him 10 star, but the system doesn't let me. He's Awesome!!!
