He explained every step clearly and made me feel confident and supported throughout the process. The office is well-organized and the staff is wonderful. I'm truly grateful and highly recommend him.

Dr. Cooperman is wonderful. He has been taking care of my eyes for a number of years. His extensive medical knowledge, experience and compassion make for the perfect doctor. I am glad that he is my doctor and if you have a retinal issue, I would highly recommend him.

I went to see Elliot W Cooperman Md for a second opinion on 8/15/25 about a medical issue. I spent over three hours in the doctor's office. Before Dr. Cooperman would give a diagnosis, he wanted to schedule another test in his office for the following Friday on (8/22/25), I made the appointment and left. I received a call from the office manager, Julie on Tuesday 8/19/25 and was told Dr Cooperman thinks it's best to continue seeing my current doctor and my appointment for Friday for more testing had been canceled with no other explanation given. My wife and I were shocked so I called back the next day on 8/20/25 and talked to Julie, to get more information as to why Dr Cooperman canceled my test and was told she was just relaying the information from the doctor. After I took a day off from work to see the doctor on 8/15, and to spend over 3 hours there to leave with no second opinion to what my medical issue was, and then to be canceled for my second appointment I am not sure what kind of doctor would do this. I did receive my notes from my visit and it clearly said I was to return for more testing and nothing about staying with my first doctor. This makes me think did the doctor cancel my next appointment or did the office staff take it upon themselves to cancel it. Either way this isn't a doctor I would recommend.

I highly recommend Dr Cooperman! Their attentiveness, care, and expertise are truly exceptional. They walked us through every step of the process, ensuring we felt informed and supported. Their skill and dedication literally saved my husband's vision after a retinal detachment

Dr. Cooperman is an awesome doctor. Very courteous, friendly and warm. However, the wait time is abysmal. I was in the office for almost 2 hours for a dilated eye exam, and that was with an appointment. Doc apologized for the long wait, but I can't understand why it takes so long to be seen. This is my second appointment in 2 years, and had a similar experience the first time around, but my most recent appointment had the longest wait time to date. Perhaps they over schedule... I dunno.

I have no idea if Dr Cooperman is a good Dr or not because I haven't even made it thru the front door yet, and quite frankly, I'm seriously reconsidering if I want him as my new Dr due to the fact that the woman who answered the phone was extremely condescending and disresprectful. She literally said to me, "You haven't listened to a word I said!" If this is the kind of ill mannered individuals you have to deal with to get clarity on your exam, I'll put effort into finding a Dr with a more compassionate and professional office staff. Could someone please remind this woman at the front desk that people seek a Retina Specialist because they have issues with their "vision" and may need extra patience when it comes to filling out the paperwork, driving instructions etc....

Dr Cooperman is the only Ophthalmologist/Retina Surgeon that I will trust my eyes to. He is emphatic and kind and is a great surgeon. He has the power of life and death in his hands. I have been a patient of Dr Cooperman since 2001 and will continue to see him. I have referred numerous friends to him because he is that good.

So far I'm on day 3 of my post op due to retinal detachment. Dr. Cooperman is a real professional and truly cares about saving his patients eyes, he came in on his day off!! meanwhile I had another eye surgeon from Osceola regional prior to elliot that told me on a Saturday to come back on a Monday, I was mind blown at the difference in professionalism and real care that Dr. Cooperman and his staff portrayed. I'm eternally grateful God put this incredible surgeon in my corner when I needed one. Dr. Cooperman truly did save my eyesight and I will never see another retinal surgeon other than Dr. Cooperman! If I could give more than 5 stars you bet I will!!!!
