Maihan Vision Care

Two days ago ,I was in the millennium mall shopping and took appointments for myself and my daughter. We were advised $130.00 for both contacts and lenses for myself after confirmation from Doctor and consultant. Also, for daughter was $95.00 - this was the cost without insurance we were quoted, and without dilation. Just to get prescriptions. When I showed up for appointments, she took my daughter in first, then when it was time for my appointment, she advised $195.00 denying the original quote, she then claimed she had another appointment but this was clearly as a walk in-in, however said for me to wait. There in-lies, the issue, not only did I have appointments back to back scheduled, but she also lied about the cost, and in addition, now, lying about the timing as we should've been seen back to back. When I challenge the issue, she then backtracked and she said she canceled this appointment and would put me in the place that I was normally supposed to be as if though it was a favor, At this point The consultation was still being challenged, and the consultant finally reaffirmed my quote as he was there as a witness. I really appreciate him, stepping up and matching what was said and affirming that with the doctor and the associate, which also tried to involve herself with the conversation claiming the prices were different as well. He challenged both of them. I was with my kids, and I felt massive, disrespect and discrimination on this issue, And wasted my time of which very limited available free time I have. Do not go to this LensCrafters in Macy's nor this doctor, it'll be a waste of your time and potentially up charging you more than what was quoted. LensCrafters and Macy's there should be a benefit to expect more out of that especially when you're trying to make something convenient this was totally inappropriate. The doctor was supposed to have a reputation of handling this in a professional manner, and she was not doing so in front of people until I called her out on it. They apologize, but by then it was too late, While they said they would honor the price. It was only after being challenged and this is wrong. And only after the consultant reaffirm the pricing. She just didn't want to look bad in front of the other people waiting. The conversation was specifically with the doctor and we had already been quoted the prices directly face-to-face, and she was also challenged to check the video as we knew that we were there and we knew what was quoted. Sad very sad how this was handled.

This is my second year coming to LensCrafters, and I absolutely love it here! The optometrist is amazing--thorough, kind, and really takes the time to explain everything. Kirby is also incredible--so helpful, friendly, and always makes the experience smooth and enjoyable. Great service all around. Highly recommend!

I had a great experience at Maihan Vision care today. The doctor was very knowledgeable and took her time to examine my eyes. Girby the gentleman at the front was very professional and patient with me. I would go back to Maihan Vision care. They exceeded my expectations.

Speedy courteous service. Such a personable staff. It was a great experience Update: Really my only issue is the lack of eyeglass selection. I don't know if it's just the industry itself but they're geared mostly all of the eyeglasses the same shape and material. It truly lacks anything other than extremely feminine. I feel sorry for men looking for glasses because there isn't much to choose from. I'm a woman and I got my glasses from what appears to be the "men's" section and they're not at all what I would think a man would want to wear. Otherwise, the Doctor is so friendly and personable. And the staff is so very nice. I've been there once before and I got an email about needing to make and appointment and I didn't hesitate. The email actually shows next availability so you just click the date and time you want and fill in your information and the appointment is made. It couldn't be easier. I really like them a lot.

The visit feels rushed and the Optometrist did not explain in detail about examination. I was given an expired trial contact to wear and when this was brought to the attention of the Optometrist (Dr. Ngugen) she made a smart comment stating "well at least you can see out of it". I would not have my eyes examined at this Lens crafters location again.

My husband and I had a great experience at this location of Lens crafters. The staff and doctor were amazing and very helpful. There was a good collection of frames to choose from. We picked frames and lenses and we pick them up in one week. Very efficient.
