I am very disappointed with my experience at this practice. Last year, this doctor diagnosed me with early cataracts and suggested concern about early glaucoma. I paid nearly $300 for the initial exam, left worried, and was under the impression that I was developing serious eye conditions. After moving and changing doctors this year, I had a full eye exam with a new ophthalmologist. I was told I do NOT have early cataracts nor any signs of glaucoma. This raises serious concerns about the accuracy of the original diagnosis and the professional ethics involved. A misdiagnosis not only caused unnecessary stress but also resulted in significant out-of-pocket costs. Patients trust physicians with their health. Unfortunately, my experience did not meet that standard. I would strongly recommend getting a second opinion before accepting any diagnosis from this office.

A little more than a year ago, I had my first patient visit with Dr. Salinas, because my previous eye doctor had passed away. My first office visits were wonderful, except for the part where I was told I had the beginnings of cataracts. Fast-forward a year later, when I get a text--not a phone call--scheduling my annual follow-up. Well, not only was the date and time impossible for me, the next available date and time was months later, and you can only schedule over the phone or in-person. So, I decided to try an actual ophthalmologist, instead. When they failed to mention my cataracts, I mentioned my previous diagnosis. The new doctor and I reviewed enlarged imagery of my eyes. There was zero indication of anything other than idiopathic hematomas. As if that wasn't damning enough, the optician at Dr. Salinas office had incorrectly measured my PD by more than a millimeter, which lead to terrible headaches over the year that followed. Do yourself a favor, go visit a real doctor with a more accommodating front desk, and order your glasses online.

I have been feeling a bit frightened about the idea that my eyes were getting worse but Dr Salinas has made me feel so much better. My sister referred me to him with great reviews. Dr Salinas has a way of speaking that calms and soothes. His staff is just as helpful and sweet. Thank you all for your help and patience. God bless you all .

Very timely. Staff very courteous. The young tech is ver knowledgeable and thorough on the test performed. Dr Salinas puts you at ease with his relax attitude. Explains every detail in a succinct and understandable fashion, letting you know the next steps necessary. The lenses are as expensive as any other but the young lady again is very nice and explains every charge on its own. I'm happy I went.

I am a mom and we take our kids to Dr. Salinas every year. He is not just a great doctor, he's got a wonderful demeanor for all ages and his sister Lisa is the best optician I know. He also takes care of my husband and I extremely well. Highly recommended!

Excellence in eye care. I've been a long time patient since about when they opened so many years ago and I can't say enough good things about them. They get my highest recommendation for best in class. Dr. Salinas and Lisa are fantastic! My contacts are difficult to fit and without Dr. Salinas I run into a lot of trouble with other eye clinics. I know this because I've made the mistake of seeing other people when I moved out of the area or that time I needed contacts on the fly traveling and after several many years, I just decided it was worth the trip to see them.
