What an awesome Doctor !!! Dr. Farhangi has been amazing every since l began seeing her several months ago. She is so nice, easy to talk too and actually listens to the information l give her about my eye issues. From the beginning, she quickly assessed my problems and referred me to retina specialists for consultation. She's never in a rush and has always left me feeling like l'm getting the best possible care available. I also see Dr. Dangiolo (who is the BEST Physician l've every seen and who literally saved my life) as my PCP. As long as they both are at UCF HEALTH l will always put my life/health in their hands. My heartfelt thanks to the head of UCF HEALTH for having these two outstanding Physicians on staff.

I see many providers for various health conditions & I can tell you I have never been treated the way this doctor treated me and will be seeking care elsewhere. I only switched ophthalmologist because I moved & chose Dr. Farhangi bc of the great reviews. My previous ophthalmologist told me I was slightly narrow but still dilatable and they dilated me at my annual screen. They said at that visit that it was safest place to dilate bc they had drops to reverse the dilation if needed and they did in fact use those drops on me after. I explained that at the UCF office and Dr. Farhangi essentially told me that there is no drop to do that and that my doctor essentially told me that to make me feel better (which came off as if this was all made up in my head and placebo drops were given to me). She then proceeded to tell me that I can only receive 120 vials quantity for every 90 days of my Restasis prescription when I have been getting 60 vials for every 30 days for over a year since I take one vial twice a day (2 vials per day) . She told me the vial should be good for both AM and PM doses meanwhile the package insert from the manufacturer as well as the labeling on the box says each vial is SINGLE USE and even says on the package that 60 vials is a 30 day supply. These are preservative free dropper style vials, I cannot just leave it upright and hope it doesn't fall over while I'm at work or that no particles in the air make it into the vial. I don't understand why she was so against prescribing the appropriate quantity of medication when my insurance covers it and I pay the copay. It's not like this medication comes out of her pocket? To make matters worse I was diagnosed with severe dry eye at my last ophthalmologist and she said I don't see that you have severe dry eye, and I had to say yes NOW bc of the eye drops that are really helpful. Her technician had significantly better bedside manner and we discussed how autoimmune conditions sometimes come in multiples which is widely documented in the literature (I have 3 autoimmune or inflammatory conditions) and her technician had asked if I've ever been tested for Sjogrens and I said I had wanted to be ever since I had this trouble with my eyes but didn't know how to get referred to Rheumatology. Dr. Farhangi said she would not refer or order the testing bc I didn't have dry mouth (which I explained I had no comparison but didn't think I had dry mouth) or joint pain. Had she asked about some symptoms of dry mouth we would have discovered that I do have unexplained difficulties with swallowing and I have other symptoms that could possibly be explained by Sjogrens, again I don't understand why she couldn't at least order the blood work bc again it doesn't come out of her pocket. Like I said, I've never been treated and dismissed in this way. We live in a medical city in 2026 where we don't have to accept subpar care and treatment.

i am about to have cataract surgery performed by Dr. Farhangi at UCF Health, and I couldn't be more pleased with the entire experience. From the very first consultation, Dr. Farhangi was knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely compassionate. She took the time to explain every step of the process clearly, answered all my questions, and made me feel completely at ease. Her calm and confident manner gave me reassurance that I was in excellent hands. I also appreciated how attentive and responsive her team was throughout the process. I would highly recommend her to anyone in need of cataract surgery or eye care.

I was really nervous about selecting an ophthalmologist and wow!!!! I am so glad I chose her. She is always very nice and friendly, very caring MD. Her diagnosis was very rare and right on point. My vision was declining very quickly when Dr. Farhangi diagnosed and began treatment and provided referals for Continued care and treatments. Im so very thankful for all sh has done for me. DR. FARHANGI IS THE BEST!!!!

I highly recommend Dr. Farhangi for cataract / IOL surgery. I had some unusual circumstances (dry eye and multiple prior lasik surgeries) and she clearly communicated potential complications. My outcome has exceeded my expectations. David A.

It is an awesome place Dr Monika Farhangi is a wonderful awesome doctor I recommend her. She did fantastic job removing both cataracts from my eyes. I can see clearly. No problems.

I am thrilled that I found this doctor! So far I have trusted her with one cataract surgery and am coming up on my second. She is thorough, patient, kind, goes above and beyond and you don't find that anymore, and works seamlessly with her entire staff. Highly highly recommend.
