At 73 and a half. All the year's I've had my eye's checked, I never got treated and examined so in depth!
Love the demeanor of the office, staff and Dr.Parker. He explained in detail about my eye's and I learned a lot! Today's technology is there. I was in awe of the experience and knowledge. He will be my optimoligist as long as they are there. Kudos to the glasses I need, transitions. How far they have come. She explained everything and helped me pick what makes me look like myself again
Loved everything about the appointment. I found out I have
Cataracts and in about a year will need lens implants and Dr.Parker explained how much that's changed for the better. Really made my day! Thank you all for everything
Dr Jack Parker and his team are extremely knowledgable, courteous, understandable, and professional. The experience from the moment you walk in until you leave is outstanding! I was in and out in less than 1 hour! I would highly recommend Dr Parker's office.
A very welcoming experience from the time you check in, to the eye exam, to seeing Mr. Parker, then a no hassle no nonsense and keeping it simple when picking out new glasses. Very pleased and thankful during my first visit. A very professional group working together in seeing what's best for you as their patients. Very much recommend you give them a call to set up your next appointment. Thanks again to Mr. Parker and his team members. I'm very much grateful and appreciated to see their hard work so I can then be able to see more clearly for myself, thanks again.
I have been a patient for Dr. Parker for many years. He has been a caring Eye doctor for me. He is very knowledgeable with different eye issues, and new eye medication available in the market. Everyone from the technician to the front office personnel are very professional and friendly to their patients. Definitely, I would strongly recommend going to Parker Eye Center if you are looking for a good Eye Doctor.
I've been going to Dr. Parker's office for the past few years to follow up on an eye condition. I've been encouraged by my optometrist to find an ophthalmologist to monitor that eye. I chose Dr. Parker because of his high reviews.
Like a few reviews here have mentioned, he is definitely knowledgeable, no doubt, but he lacks 'bedside' manners as a doctor and he's completely oblivious with how he speaks to patients.
He does have an ego, and when you're telling him about your condition or sob story, he feels like he's got to one-up you with his past or how he came to become a doctor.
He's passively condescending without knowing it.
A bigger issue I have with this location is how they handle insurance. I've been hopping on and off with short term medical insurance since my employer does not provide insurance.
I've been on auto-pay with my insurance and have never gone to a hospital. My short term insurance ended in 02/2024 and I was never informed (small underwritten company). Because I have health/vision/dental insurance on autopay, I was not aware that I had dropped coverage. I continued to visit dr Parker's office in 10/2024 and 10/2025. I paid my co-pays each time and was under the assumption I still had insurance. Because Dr. Parker is the only medical office I visit (I don't even have a PCP), I depended on them to notify me if my visit wasn't covered. I'm a healthy adult in my 30s and have no health conditions nor do I do anything risky and hence why I don't have health insurance.
Well, now it's 2026 and they just sent me a bill for both visits in 10/2024 and 10/2025. Annette tells me they've been "working" to contact the insurance to cover my visits...and yet it took them over a year to notify me that my initial 10/2024 visit wasn't covered. Had they called or written me between 10/2024 to 10/2025, I would not have requested an appointment for 2025! During my visit in 2025, why did they not notify me when I checked in that they couldn't process my 2024 visit!?!
Absolutely horrible how they backlog insurance claims that far back and what a horrible excuse.
If you're not a patient here, go find a different ophthalmologist.
If you already go here, request a medical release form and transfer your records to a different ophthalmologist.
Shame on me for not checking coverage, but shame on this office for waiting over a year to notify me I didn't have coverage. They didn't even tell me in person during my 2025 visit that they couldn't process my 2024 claim!
Dr. Parker and the staff are exceptional. Feel extremely valued as a patient and the team is very professional and trust the results they provide. The optical center is fantastic as well with a great selection of frames and options. Highly recommend Parker Eye Care Center.
I have been a patient here for years and I refuse to go anywhere else. The staff is always friendly, outgoing and helpful (Im partially disabled). Monica in frames and lenses has gone way above beyond. She is so kind and helpful. Her knowledge of frames and lenses was tested by my disability. She didn't give up or ignore the problem. She included me at all times in the process of finding a solution that worked.
Dr. Parker is extremely knowledgeable, proficient, prompt, and pleasant to work with. They never keep you waiting more than 10 minutes, and I feel comfortable trusting my vision with Dr. Parker. I've always been extremely impressed with Dr. Parker's knowledge and understanding of Electro-Optical phenomena beyond the visible spectrum. I don't know if that's required curriculum for all eye doctors, but I'm glad he's got it!
