Sabrina is a really sweet and knowledgeable woman who helped me so much in choosing the right pair of glasses and sunglasses for me, and breaking down everything that I needed to know. Both the doctor and the assistant as well were very kind and professional. I felt welcome as a new patient and will be gladly coming back for the foreseeable future!

I have been going to this practice for about 6 years now. I must say my most recent experience was so bad & disappointing. Looks like they became so cheap: the glasses were delivered with no carry bag or glass wipes. When asked about the wipes, I was told that they ran out of it (understandable). But then they had to fix my glasses. The route the staff was taking is to blame me for their lack of communication. The day I had my exam, they were so eager to build up on my bill for unnecessary optional choices; but never bothered to explain that my prescription changed due to 'new findings' on top of what I already have. When I tried to point out about this, the lady was like" informing you about this new diagnosis was NOT NECESSARY". Then I had to remind her as a customer, I need to be informed when I am purchasing a product. So now she was willing to put my request in for the change of glasses (obviously she was irritated). We live in America & we have certain customer care standards to follow. When I received the replacement glasses about 2 weeks later, no cloth wipe & carry bag. My glasses has smaller than the size of my eye width 'focal' area for reading!!!! What a mess !!! I have my options figured out: NEVER TO USE YOUR SERVICE; that is 3 customers not returning to you. By the way I am a healthcare professional and never treated any of my patients this way.

I had my annual eye exam today for both glasses and contact lenses at this office, and I couldn't be more impressed. As someone who currently wears both glasses and contacts--and was visiting a new optometrist office for the first time--I wasn't sure what to expect, but the entire experience exceeded my expectations. From the moment I checked in, the staff was warm, welcoming, and incredibly organized. The optometrist was thorough, patient, and took the time to explain everything clearly, which made me feel completely at ease. The exam itself was efficient yet very detailed. What truly stood out was the glasses selection experience. The sales associate was amazing--she took her time with me, listened to what I was looking for, offered honest recommendations, and never made me feel rushed or pressured. It made the process enjoyable and stress-free. Overall, this was a wonderful experience from start to finish. Professional, friendly, and genuinely caring staff. I highly recommend this office to anyone looking for excellent eye care and a great customer experience!

My family and I love Uptown Eyecare and this office has been above average consistently over the years. The office is always clean, the overall staff is pleasant, patient and friendly, wait time is minimal (I've always had an appointment) and their customer service skills are on point. I highly recommend them.

I've been a loyal patient of Uptown Eye Care for the past 9 years, and despite having moved 40 minutes away, I still make the drive because of their exceptional staff and extensive selection. Over the years, I've had many positive interactions with various employees, and although some are no longer there, the service remains top-notch. Dr. Vanessa is simply amazing. She is incredibly knowledgeable and thorough in her exams, ensuring I always receive the best care. Recently, I had my yearly check-up and inquired about a specific brand of frames. Ashley informed me they no longer carried that brand but promised to see what she could do. True to her word, she worked her magic and not only secured the frames I wanted but also gave me two additional options to ensure a perfect fit. Throughout the process, Ashley kept me updated, demonstrating excellent customer service. At my appointment today, Dr. Vanessa was, as always, outstanding. Meeting Ashley in person was a delight--she went above and beyond to ensure my satisfaction. Uptown Eye Care is a place I wholeheartedly recommend. 10/10!

Amazing place! Everyone here is so friendly, welcoming, and always on time, it truly feels like a family. They also have a great selection of glasses, which makes finding the perfect pair so easy. I'm just sad they don't take my new insurance , because I absolutely love this office!

This was my first and last time at Uptown Eyecare. I arrived 10 minutes prior to my appointment. The door was locked, i was let in 5 minutes later and the staff proceeded to rush me to fill out the paperwork. "Fill this out fast because we're working against your time" The whole process was very rushed, I told them this was a routine annual eye exam. Doctor even said my eyes were healthy. After the exam and dilation, they proceeded to tell me I had to pay the exam fee which per my insurance should be covered at 100%. They also tried to charge me in order to get a year supply of contacts. Normally I would call my insurance before paying, but I couldn't see anything due to dilation and they were already rushing me so I was on the verge of a panic attack. I didn't know until I called my insurance later that Uptown Eyecare charged me a "premium" fee, which is normally charged when theres health concerns or extra testing that needs to be done.... Again the doctor said my eyes are healthy and all i asked them for was a ROUTINE ANNUAL eye exam. My friend/coworker and I are on the exact same plan bc we chose it that way and both have astigmatism, only difference is her prescription is stronger, yet when she went to the same Uptown Eyecare they did not charge her more than what the insurance covers. I have never had to pay out of pocket with my vision plan and I have never felt as vulnerable at any kind of doctors appointment, I feel like Uptown Eyecare is a scam.
