Walmart Vision & Glasses

Five stars to Dr TJ Harbuck for doing such a thorough eye exam. He was excellent (the younger Dr. Harbuck). The reason I give a one star is the really abysmal customer service on the floor. Tech had no customer service skills. Gave me a final price of approx $400 with all upgrades that I never wanted. I told her no. This is supposed to be Walmart! Cost effective prices. It gets better. I get a text saying my glasses are ready and they used the floor sample as my new glasses frame. She went and got the frame and vanished in the back room for a while and came out with my supposed frame right while I was sitting there.I asked her if there was a problem and had she used floor frame. She said frame hadn't come in so they used this one and then said I could have a new one if I wanted but the tortoise shell frame might be different from the one I liked. Horrified, I told her I wanted a new frame. Why would I want some old frame that everyone has tried on?? I got my glasses, again customer service is terrible. The only person who was so polite and courteous was a person called Bill who helped me. They all could learn a thing or two about how to speak to people and not be ignored. Buy your glasses somewhere else . Dr. TJ Harbuck was excellent.

I had a great experience. I liked the Doctor that gave me my eye exam. All the ladies were very helpful getting my glasses. They were ready in shop earlier than promised. Great experience!

Glasses provided are affordable. Quick and easy exams. Helpful and friendly optometrist. Unprofessional customer service in person and over the phone by the current technicians. The younger one especially. Every time I have visisted, I was never properly helped. I asked to replace nose pads for my glasses and adjustments. The technician ignored me and did not do neither requests. I felt unseen. I hope they are well with whatever they are going through.

I had a terrific experience at this location. Dr Harbuck knew I was nervous so he was a bit funny, which was great. He took very good care of my eyes esp because I was worried that I had a problem. He was really great! The manager and the other 2 ladies that helped me with my glasses were very helpful too. My glasses even came in early. Great experience.

This place is by far one of the most unprofessional places I've seen. I came in to pick up glasses and not one time did anyone come over to assist me or acknowledge me. I pressed their stupid button twice and the lady walked out and addressed the people behind me. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone with human decency....... I think managers should monitor these companies inside of Walmart a little more especially since you are in the customer service business.

This was our first time, and will surely be our last time Doctor HARBUCK was very standoffish. No personal people skills at all. Very rude very spaced out like as if he was somewhere else, and not in the present in front of me and my young daughter, when he came out to get her, I asked if I could come in the room. He turned to me and his response was, I don't care, ugh.... this was a very strange and awkward visit. I cannot even believe he is allowed to see patients.

Walmart Optical no longer takes my insurance but the exam (for both contacts and glasses) and trial pair of contacts...very affordable. I called and was able to get an appointment, barely an hour later. I wasn't even in the office 30 minutes. The Staff was pleasant and my Optometrist didn't make me feel rushed and was genuinely concerned about the health of my eyes. It was a good day. :-)

Unlike most persons with negative reviews here, I've been treated with kindness and efficiency several times when I've been there for an appointment or to buy contacts. I always treat others like they matter, and I feel in return receive that same energy back.
