Dr. Sunil Gupta, MD

Probably the best surgeon of his kind around. He gave me a vitrectomy for floaters. No real pain during surgery. Very friendly. About as pleasant as surgery is going to get. Highly recommend.

Your parking is atrocious!!!!! I'm a wheelchair taxi driver and going to have to refuse to bring anyone here because there's absolutely no place to park or even drop off handicapped patients. I had to park a block over and wheel over over of your patients. There's a huge bump on the road that hurts her.

I had an appointment at 2:30 I arrived at 2:28. After the technician took my initial details I was asked to wait in the waiting room. At 4:00 I checked to see where I was in the queue and was told I was 2nd to be put in an exam room. The reason the gave for being so backed up was they were always backed up on Tuesday and Thursday because there are only 2 Doctors there on those days. My appointment was for a specific Doctor who only sees by appointment so I fail to see the revelavence of the number of Doctors in the office. The reality is they over book appointments and clearly have zero regard for their patients time While Dr. Gupta is an excellent Dr. I find the lack of regard for my time unacceptable.

I have had many appointments with Dr. Gupta over the years. He has kept me from loosing my vision. He has a great bedside manner and I've have recommended him to friends. Thank you Dr, Gopta

Doctor was great referral to doctor Corter and doctor almond. Only problem was the 2 hour wait but would wait longer for Dr Gupta!

While being a snow bird in Gulf Shores AL from IL I noticed a lightning strike flash in my left peripheral vision. Knowing the urgency went to an eye Clinic in Gulf Shores who referred me to Retinal Specialty Institute for a 12:30 PM appointment. Long story short John Myers saw me & did Laser Surgery on a Retinal Tear. By 3pm I had a Late Lunch at McGuire's. Dr Sunil did a follow up the next day as I had new floaters and was concerned. He informed me all was well & if I had trouble getting an appointment in Illinois in 6-8 weeks he would hook me up with a client in Iowa City IA where he went to School. Fantastic Clinic & Support System

I was referred to the office years ago. I am so fortunate to have Dr. Gupta as my doctor. He has met me on holidays and has done everything in his power to help keep my vision.
