Gulf Coast Vision Center

I had a great experience at Gulf Coast Vision Center! Dr. Lock provided a very thorough and professional eye exam and took the time to explain everything clearly. Jaime was incredible and so patient while helping me choose frames -- she really went the extra mile to make sure I was happy with my selection. I couldn't be more pleased with my visit!

Went to Gulf Coast Vision Center on 9 Mile Road today to have Dr Reynolds look at my eyes and give me a prescription. He is the best. He took the time to explain why I've been having so much trouble with my current glasses,that I got somewhere else.(my mistake) But explain how each eyes vision is so different there's kind of a balance he's trying to achieve when he makes the prescription in each lens anyway it was very informative. He's a great dr. So then I go over to the glasses center and met with Jamie. She was very happy to help me find glasses. She knows her stuff too. I'm kind of picky about my glasses so don't you know that was probably fun for her, but she was so professional and I valued her opinion. She was pretty great. My whole experience has been fantastic and I will definitely go back again, instead of going to some yahoo. All 5 STARS from me!

I have been coming to Gulf Coast Vision for years. Never had an issue. They've always had great glass design choices and the doctors have always been A-Game and thorough during my exams. My eye health is their first priority. I love this place and the staff. Thank you for everything. I've always been satisfied.

Dr. Amy Cantrell is the best optometrist I have had in many years! My new glasses are vastly superior to my previous ones. I can now see far more clearly when driving and watching tv. And no ophthalmic surgery is required. This is such a blessing!

Dr. Locke and staff were amazing. When I walked in I was greeted by the front desk staff(both employees had a friendly smile and were very polite). I came in for my eye exam/ contact lens fit. Tora was great at doing all my pre testing and as always makes you feel welcome. If you want a great experience for your eye exam you should definitely make your appointment.

Being new to Pensacola, I had to find an eye doctor and clinic who could work with complicated prism lenses. My insurance company referred me to several; I visited four nearest my home. Gulf Coast Vision Center was far and away, hands-down, the very best. The front desk staff was very welcoming, kind, helpful and took my information without asking '... so how do you plan to pay for this?' before they knew anything about me. I waited maybe 5 minutes for the lovely Jaime, one of several opticians, to go over my questions and concerns which she did privately, not within sight or earshot of everyone. Jaime took her time to go over the particulars of my complicated prescription, speaking to me in layman's terms, but with care, kindness and, most importantly, competence and assurance. The icing on the cake is the office itself; it actually looks like a medical practice. Beautiful decor, clean, well-groomed and charming staff, all giving a feeling of comfort. What a wonderful feeling as a senior to have found Gulf Coast Vision Center, knowing that I'll be in great hands. Terri Vinson p.s. GCVC has several locations; I'm with the 9 Mile location)

If I could give a ZERO, I would. STAY AWAY, THIS PLACE IS POOR QUALITY and plain old money grabbers They've messed up TWO, yes TWO of my prescriptions My husband's tinting developed lines like it wasn't on right, they fixed it and same problem occurred We have no insurance, so if they are poor quality to cash customers, imagine what they're doing for those with insurance Dr Reynolds offered a 25% discount for me to get my new prescription. Big deal, after we spent a couple grand over 2-3 years They treated my dry eyes wrong, by giving a script when they were at their worst. I didn't get diagnosed and treated correctly until I went elsewhere. Their staff is poorly trained to have so many issues pass through their desks. If it was one problem, I'd just move along. But it's 4 times between the two of us, twice each to mess up with their cheap tinting and improper quality checks before glasses go out to the public. I'm on Davis Hwy and heck I can stop and have coffee and get glasses or countless other places that have to be better than this place.

Jamie was excellent. She took her time to be sure my glasses were right. The Pace office had me in quick & out the door. They continued to tell me my eyes just needed to adjust to my new glasses. I'm glad I ended up at the Nine Mile Rd. office. Jamie knew exactly why my eyes couldn't adjust to my glasses. It was the material they were made with. She checked my old glasses compared them with the new ones & re-ordered the correct glasses. Thank you Jamie!
