I can't say enough about Dr. Hansen and his staff. My mother lost vision in one eye rather suddenly and I couldn't get her in to see anyone in Baldwin County where we live. Dr Hansen and his staff saw her the next afternoon, perfectly diagnosed what was happening (a tear in the back of her eye), and got us in to see a specialist the next day. When you hear about old-school medicine where doctors genuinely cared, you're hearing about Dr. Hansen and his staff. I am so glad that they are the only ones who would see my mom so quickly because I can't even imagine a better experience anywhere else. I would drive from anywhere to visit this office.

Excellent doctor. Takes time with each patient to make sure you get the best care. Does not sit in the room and type away at a computer. He is present and listens to all concerns you may have while getting your very thorough eye exam. Highly recommended.

He was the only eye doctor who could help me!! Turns out I needed prisms in my glasses.

Very good Dr. Went in after a mega eye store Southern Eye somehow messed up my prescription and I was foggy and seeing halos at night. Southern Eye people said I had cataracts. Went to Dr Hansen and he checked my eyes and wrote prescription close to what it was 5 years ago and said I had no cataracts yet. Got new glasses at Ideal Optical. Perfect

The best ophthalmologist I've seen. He was able to recognize my eye issues were due to my rare disorder. The price was amazing as well. Would definitely recommend.
