I have been seeing Dr. McLaughlin (and Dr. Suelflow) for 28 yrs now. I feel like Dr. McLaughlin is was one of the first ophthalmologist that really listened to me and explained that there was more going on then I even realized, because I had some other medical problems that were all related.
He and his staff are very helpful and always easy to work with even though their office is very busy. I appreciate him and his knowledge so much. He has also done several procedures on my eyes, and I have always had good results without any postoperative complications.

Bad experience. I will drive an hour and a half from now on to see a different doctor. Nurses talk badly about you behind closed door that you can clearly hear through. Doctor doesn't answer questions and I wasn't sedated or even properly calmed/medicated for cataract surgery. I felt like just another number. Also, I'm young- and felt like I was treated the same as a 90 year old with glaucoma. I need my eyes for a long time still, so I will find somewhere where office staff is kind, and where the doctor will give me options and answers all of my questions.

The entire staff is friendly and professional. All the nurses and techs were very knowledgeable. Dr. McLaughlin is amazing. He spent time explaining all the findings from the test. Then he gave me his recommendations and did not try to upsell us to more expensive lenses implants. Spent quality time with me and I never felt rushed. I'm so glad my optometrist referred me to this clinic and doctor. Would highly recommend them to anyone who needs their specialty services.

It was a very busy on the day of my appointment. That was ok because on that day my pressure was very high in my left eye . Dr Mc Laughlin squeezed me in to get some much needed lazar treatment which lowered my preasure from 17 - 12 points. He is a great Doctor and I am glad to use him for my eye care. He was very busy that day but took care of my problem. Follow up appointment in December.

About Tim McLaughlin, MD
Tim McLaughlin, MD obtained his Bachelor of Science degree and Doctor of Medicine degree at the University of Utah, in Salt Lake City, UT. After this, he went on to Tulane University in New Orleans, LA and completed his residency in Ophthalmology. Dr. McLaughlin completed a fellowship in Glaucoma and Anterior Segment Surgery at California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco, California. Dr. McLaughlin joined the Eye Institute at Medical Center Clinic in 1996.
