This place is scam-like and money hungry. Beware!!! We went for an annual appointment last year. They took my daughter to a different room than me, didn't keep me updated on what was going on with her appointment, and she came out without a contact lense prescription - which was the only reason we were there! When I asked them why they didn't do it, they blamed my daughter, then refused to give us the prescription and forced us to make another appointment a week later, and charged us for the second appointment! Total rip-off. Meanwhile, the doctor wrote my prescription for contacts and conned me into a new brand - which they then proceeded to tell me are 3x the cost of my old brand. When I asked to switch back to my old brand, they said I had to make another appointment to get rechecked and a new prescription just to get my old brand. Absolute scam! One year later, after swearing I would never return to this horrible place, they are texting and emailing me every day saying that I have an appointment in a week. I have texted them back multiple times and told them I never asked to schedule this, but they keep sending me text messages. This place must be so desparate for money and business - probably because they treat their customers so terribly. Never ever go to this place!

My college student went to this eye clinic for an eye exam and contact lens fitting, he was assured prior to the appt these were covered exams. Mid way through his eye exam he was informed that the clinic was not 'formulary' for contact lenses and that a contact lens fitting would be $310 out of pocket. He was told that it was due to his eyes 'needing special lenses'. (Astigmatism - a very common condition) It was at this point the provider announced he was going to lunch and would complete my son's eye exam after he got back. After checking with our insurance the clinic is in network with our insurance for eye exams but they are not participating in contact lens fittings as their charges are way above the standard costs. This is something that would have been known to the clinic who 'ran insurance benefits' prior to the appointment. We will not return.

The staff here is great and the technology is updated! These two things made my visits easy and quick and kept my stress levels down. Much appreciated.

This office needs to seriously reevaluate how they handle scheduling and patient communication. My son's appointment was booked for 11:00 AM, yet the reminder text they sent listed 11:40 AM. Naturally, I trusted the reminder. When we arrived at 11:30, we were told they would not see my son because the real appointment, the diagnostic portion, was at 11:00. Staff then explained that their system only sends reminders for the later doctor appointment, not the earlier diagnostic appointment. That is completely unacceptable. A reminder system that ignores the first required appointment time is useless and creates avoidable problems for patients. Because of their poor communication, I wasted gas, time, and had to miss an important appointment with my husband. This level of disorganization is extremely unprofessional, and it caused an inconvenience that should never have happened. I hope they fix their processes, because this is not how a medical office should operate.

I would recommend anywhere else. The receptionist was extremely pushy and dishonest about payment and about us committing to only purchase frames or contacts from their location for a significant mark-up. Never in my life have I seen behavior like this from an eyeglass store. Do yourself a favor and see a real ophthalmologist. Oh yeah, edited to add: they automatically scheduled me an appointment at their location despite currently being in a financial dispute with them over a few hundred dollars after they demanded 2 payments before giving me my prescription information to even be able to order from somewhere else and see properly. We paid about $200 and then they withheld the prescription info until we paid another. Luckily, they are not super bright, nor are they persuasive, so it's not much of an issue. I hope that you can do better in the future, but I doubt it.

Professional and courteous staff that values my time, always seen within 5 minutes of scheduled appointment time. Very thorough examination protocol and detailed communication as to health of my eyes.

Dr. Ben Larson was the first eye doctor to immediately diagnosis my condition. He didn't need extra tests. I explained and he said, yes, that's (this condition). He let me know while it's not common, it's something he has seen a lot of. Every other eye doc has called me an "interesting case" which tells you right away they don't know what it is. So I'm happy to continue seeing Dr. Larson. He's personable and has a good sense of humor. The staff are good too. Good combination.

I wouldn't recommend this establishment for your vision needs. My husband has been going here for years, his latest prescription provided was incorrect. We're in a world where we are trying to save every penny we can, we used an online retailer for eye glasses. When they were received, it was obvious the prescription was wrong. Upon contacting the office, they insisted he be reexamined. For whatever reason this required him to be seen not once but twice, the initial revisit- the prescriber Ben Larson wasn't there. He was then scheduled for the second appointment. During both of these appointments it was confirmed he did in fact receive an incorrect prescription. However they refused to offer any compensation for the incorrect eye glasses being received- but did let him know he wouldn't be charged for the additional required appointments. I understand not offering him cash for the mistake, but not even a credit to have them make the new glasses? Not a good way to keep patients. More could have been done if they actually cared about the mistake.
