I love going there because everyone is so pleasant and helpful. Dr. Loar is very thorough and honest and upfront about your eye conditions and helps to get you what you need. She is very pleasant and spends the time with you and doesn't rush you through. Great place for you to go. Your eyes deserve the best care and you will get it there.

I have been going to Dr. Loar since I moved here in 2011. She is professional, more than competent, and has a wonderful "chair side" manner. I recommend her without reservation! Her staff is helpful and pleasant. My mother has been going to her for many years and has absolutely recommended her without hesitation.

Dr. Loar is always so bright and cheerful. Just a joy to see but she definitely will tell you like it is which I really appreciate. The staff is great and the new office is beautiful.

I have been going here for 10 years,it is usually great. So good that I moved to another city and actually drove over an hour back there for an appointment. But this time not so much. When I went to look for frames instead of the usual questions what style are you looking for what shape ETC. I was told the cheaper ones are on the left and they get more expensive when you move to the right. After I picked out the frames I sat at the table and was asked" What lens do you want"? Uh I don't know what kind do you have? I said I guess just go with what I already have. When the glasses were ready I went in, I was handed the glasses and a card while I was standing by the door. " Can you read this?" I said yes . I was told Ok good if you have any problems come back. Within a few minutes I realized that my reading area was very small and any movement of my head caused blurriness. I went right back. I was brought to the table by one of the regular staff. I explained my issue. She said that the reading area would be smaller because the new frames were narrower than my old ones plus the new frames have no nose piece and that affects the way they sit. I asked her don't you think that I should have been told to me while I was picking out frames. She replied Yes but she wasn't here and that they do not give refunds. They especially don't if insurance was involved. So bottom line is I paid $500.000 dollars for a pair of glasses that I can use as a spare. I have to wait a year before I can get ones that will work correctly and I need to find a new eye Dr. The Doctor is great her staff is not. Very disappointing.

Jennifer is a very thorough and caring optometrist. I have wet macular degeneration and get injections monthly at my retinologist; and Jennifer works in conjunction with him to keep my glasses prescription up to date.
