I was there for a routine eye exam to update my glasses and contacts prescription. The only thing I received that was out of the ordinary was that I paid them to use the camera to take pictures of the backs of my eyes instead of having my eyes be dilated. I paid for that service at the time of the appointment. Dr. Hilversum was VERY pushy to try and get me to order contacts while I was in person there, and repeatedly tried to pressure me into it after I let her know that I did not need them that day because I still have quite a bit of stock left. Their billing department also mis-coded my visit to where my insurance did not cover $125 because they said I had a contacts fitting exam. I absolutely did not have that. I've been wearing glasses since the first grade, so I know what it looks like to receive only a routine prescription update exam. I've tried to have them adjust my billing code but both the specific location and the corporate billing office were unhelpful and refused to correct the mistake. I will never return to this location, and am frankly tempted to move to a different brand for my eye care because of what I've experienced at this location and after as far as the billing goes. If MyEyeDr would like to correct the issue and cancel the $125 bill for services I did NOT receive, I'd be pleased with that outcome.

I went in today so I could get my current prescription put into a new set of frames, the person I spoke with, Aaron, was extremely helpful and sociable! Would definitely recommend.

I initially went last year as its a convenient location, I returned because of the superb staff! Dr H is genuine in her care & educating her patients! Ms Kim C, Dr assistant, is a delight! Front desk girls are spot-on awesome & store manager Aaron is honest, answered my questions in non medical speak. Great sense of humor too! WAAAAAY better than the chain eye dr offices.

This location has improved significantly over the past couple of years. Dr. Hilversum clearly knows her stuff and Robert Dunn is an excellent eyeglass fitter. He doesn't stop until it's perfect. Glad to be back.

Went in for repair on my glasses. Got the run around. When I tried to explain what I needed the manager attack me verbally. When I tried to calm him down. He got even more nasty insulting me. At my age I have never been so rudely berated by a manager in a public establishment. If you have to deal with My Eye Doctor I suggest you visit their Palm Coast location. Excellent customer service as oppose to the arrogant insipid attitude from the Manager at the 312 location!

Fabulous experience...especially with Robert...he's just amazing!...I've been going to another eye doctor for years that had an in-house eye glass section to their business...they pale in comparison to the level of expertise I received from Robert...I highly recommend him...just the Best!

I gave this place another chance even after a visit a couple years ago when my prescription was completely incorrect. This time I paid $200 for glasses with transition lenses and was told it would take about three weeks to get them. Five weeks later I called to check in and they told me I had already picked them up. When I told them I absolutely didn't, they said it my was sister. I don't even have a sister. The manager called me hours later and told me that someone had made a mistake and my order had never actually arrived in the first place. He promised to expedite a new order and they arrived within a couple of days. However, after a few days I realized there were no transition lenses, so I called to make sure I had actually paid for them. The woman who initially answered immediately told me no, but after all the previous mistakes I asked if the manager could confirm. He immediately assured me that I DID pay for them and that he would expedite a new pair AGAIN. He clarified a new pair, and that I would be able to keep the current pair. I was notified they were ready once a total of two months had passed since my initial order. When I went in the woman at the front desk immediately acted like I was being an inconvenience even though the place was empty. She then told me the only thing she had for me were lenses and that I would need to give them my frames to replace them. I explained that I can't just give them my only pair of glasses until they're replaced so, again, I left after the fourth mistake with my order. The manager was off for two days so I couldn't even call him, and when I did call again he wasn't available and I have not received a call back. As someone in customer service I have been as patient as I can manage and have tried very hard to be polite, but this is all unacceptable. This is all in addition to the doctor telling me I can't have contacts because my eyes are "too dry". I'm just so blown away by how poorly everything has been handled and I can't imagine ever recommending this place to anyone. With the bevy of one star reviews I see now I can't believe this place is still in business.
