I have been a patient for serval years now and I am very happy with Dr. Agee and the staff but the last tech that injected IV dye and imaged eyes seemed over confident and under skilled
What a great experience with this medical office. While the office was very busy, it was the most efficient and well organized practice I've ever been in. Each medical professional had a role within the entire team. And each medical professional performed their role with friendliness, professionalism, and expertise in their area. I never felt rushed, and when I met Dr. AG, he took the time to explain the laser procedure, as well as reassure me with what to expect. I was sent home with easy to understand instructions and exactly what my diagnosis was and the procedure that was performed. Thank you to the entire team from the front desk to the clinical to the nurses to Dr. AG to check out!
I recently had an appointment on August 1st at SRS with Dr. Agee. The office staff was super, as were all of the the Techs. Very professional, and truly cared for why I was there. However, that was not the case with Dr. Agee. When he entered the room, there was no eye contact, no hello, no anything. He never asked me about my issues or concerns. He merely told me to sit behind the equipment, put my chin and forehead onto the device, and move my eyes in different directions. While he was looking at the screen, he was addressing only the tech, using technical terms. Not once did he explain any of his findings with me. I did hear him say cataracts to the tech . When I stood up, to ask a question, he was heading to the door. I asked if I had cataracts, and he replied yes, in both eyes, not bad enough for surgery as he continued to the door. The last thing I heard before the door closed was....... I'll see you in a year. I thought to myself.....Like hell you will!!!!!
This clinic is top notch! Everyone at office is so friendly and professional from front desk to check out. I was on vacation when I had a spontaneous retina tear. The office got me in right away. A lot of tests were performed. Then I saw Dr Agee who is outstanding!! He was able to fit me for surgery the very next day! Great follow up, and the office was always available to answer questions.
Dr. Sullivan and his staff are all so very kind, caring and professional. I was in such good hands. Giving their time, talking, letting questions be asked was all a part of the wonderful experience I had. My fears were released with an in depth explanation of each test and phase. Dr. Sullivan is an outstanding and thorough specialist.
My husband had his 6 month checkup here Monday. We waited a total of 3 hours before seeing Dr Agee. His patients are mainly elderly and for them to have to wait that long is ludicrous. There were many patients standing even with the 3 waiting rooms. We received the excuse he was on vacation the week before and had to move his patients back a week. With that many patients they should have been spread over a few weeks time.
I just took a Covid test and it was positive. Thanks to the over crowding of the office. They say count back 3 days and that is where you got it. Besides we haven't gone anywhere else.
The staff members are fun, and the wait has never been long. They move you through to different people to get what they need before you see the doc. Dr. Agee did my initial exam, my surgery and the check-ups, and I really like him. The office is spacious enough that I don't feel closed in even when there are a good number of other patients present. The parking lot is large enough, too. That's a bonus!
Update: Office was packed, but everyone seemed to be moved through smoothly - me included. They took special pix of my eyes today that I hadn't had before. It was fine, but I didn't know about it in advance, and the pix required another step I wasn't prepared for. It turned out fine, and they'll only do this pix test of the eyes 1 time a year, but I suggest asking with there will be any special eye tests requiring contrast. The staff and Dr. Agee are terrific. Very nice but very professional. Upbeat even when they are obviously swamped with patients.
My mom was called by the office so she can get scheduled for surgery then when we arrived and spoke to the doctor it got cancelled but the doctor couldn't tell her why she wasn't cleared or could tell us how to get her cleared and basically it's fine that she sees floaters because it won't kill her just effect her quality of life. Waited 3 hours to be told they don't know to every question asked. He said that it was from a heart issue but she doesn't have one or even see a cardiologist and then basically said he didn't know then. Proceed to discharged my mom because he felt "attacked" because I asked him how can he not know her medical history. How can a doctor walk in a room and tell a patient I don't know to every question? Or not know why she's not cleared for surgery or what to do? When they are the ones who called her so she can get scheduled and that she was cleared. Honestly was amazed by how many times he said I don't know. I think someone with a medical degree practicing should know at least one question asked in relation to the specialty they practice in. All I wanted was to know if she isn't cleared how we could get her and he didn't know that either. If you want to waste your time and money go to them they will gladly take your money Just to not have any answers, and to be told a whole different story. The doctor is Dr. Agee. My mom has been seeing him for a year now. Totally disgusted with the care and will not be referring any of my patients in the future
