Prado Vision Center & Optical

The first part of the visit was excellent. The OA was super professional and treated me very kindly. The meeting with the Dr was a little bit uncomfortable. It was clear he was upset of something and reflected in his treatment. I did not find that professional. If you're tired or upset you should not take care of patients. We all deserve time and respect. I felt rushed out and walked of the place not knowing anything. It was not until today that I was invited to join their portal when I could read and try to understand his mumbo jumbo. There are sections where it was established that I was informed and that I had agreed and it's all false as we did not had any conversation.

First, it's always good to receive care in my own language. I'm doing this with the help of a translator. The care has been very good, friendly, and respectful, and they answered my questions accurately and knowledgeably. Thank you so much for your attention. I want to take this opportunity to let Dr. Prado know that the team's care on the day of surgery was also excellent, with them speaking my own language. The staff was very cheerful and cordial. Thank you again.

OMG, the service here was outstanding!! The staff was nice, very helpful and sociala. I did not feel like just another patient or an account number. Dr. Antonio Prado was so awesome. He explained everything so I could understand and the checkout was a breeze. The location is really beautiful, it has a serene lake in the back with ducks and the landscaping is well kept. The lobby, patient treatment rooms, bathroom and floors were all very clean. This office deserves 20 out of 10 stars. I highly recommend this office. I went to the Himes Avenue location in Tampa.

Everyone is so nice and caring. I especially like Dr. Prado. He made me feel like he really cared and took his time to explain everything. Thank you so much.

I was at an optometrist's office to get a new pair of glasses today. I thought I had a compete script with me from my annual eye exam done on 4/25 at Prado Vision. Little did I know it was incomplete as It only showed the codes for reading. However, I wear glasses all the time. While still at the new office where I was going to get new glasses, I tried calling Prado to get a complete script. They don't answer their phones. They have a call center recording which tells you to leave a message and someone will call you back. No time frame disclosed. At that point, I had to get in my car and go to their physical location on Himes in Tampa. It took me 38 minutes in heavy traffic. Stood at the front desk in front of the receptionist for 15 minutes who was on the phone and never even looked up to at least acknowledge my presence. She finally obtained a corrected script a few minutes later and handed it to me. No apologies, no explanation. I will never use Prado again. If you choose to, I sure hope you have a more professional experience than I did.

Service for eyecare is excellent. They are very thorough. The staff & Dr. Dominic Prado made my experience very pleasant. Timeliness & friendliness were exceptional. One drawback:It was much better having the Optical at the same building. Now the Optical is in a separate building right in front and a separate appointment is required. Not much of an inconvenience. I still would choose my eyecare with them.

The PRADO Vision Center, here in Tampa, Florida, is a superb eye clinic for every aspect of your eyes' vision and health. Dr. Dominic Prado is a young, brilliant, energetic ophthalmologist whose large, friendly staff is wonderfully resourceful and goes the extra mile to make you feel relaxed and comfortable. I highly recommend this modern, hi-tech facility for all your eye-related needs. A+

This place is so disorganized and tells you various answers but none of them are true. First, we were cancelled in wating room because no anastesiologist (first eye) We have waited for a retinologist for 5 weeks, my mother cannot see and there is no end game in sight! Please consider other altrnatives if you have humamna HMO. This place is a body shop. We r done. My mother needs to see, she has pacemaker/defibrillator and 82 needs to drive and get a around.
