You will never find a better optometrist. Dr. MacKinder and his staff are the most caring, knowledgeable, and hard working professionals in the area. After spending months trying to resolve an allergy with several physicians, a friend recommended this office. It didn't take very long for Dr. MacKinder to make the connection that I had developed an allergy to my contact solution. That's all it takes, folks. Someone who asks great questions, truly listens to the answers, and treats the whole person versus their symptoms. All of the staff there shares these same values and does an incredible job making you feel second to none. Thank you for being awesome!

I've had years of experience visiting eye doctors for annual check-ups, and for the most part, it's always felt like just another task on my to-do list dealing with someone with a cold persona who is just there to do their job and check a number. Last year, I went to SEE on the other end of Park Avenue, another routine visit that didn't leave much of an impression. But my experience with Dr. Lisa Gibbons was entirely different. From the moment I walked in, the staff at eyes and optics went above and beyond. What stood out most was how I was treated. I came in casually dressed--just a big t-shirt and running shorts--but I was welcomed and treated with warmth and respect, like I was walking on the red carpet. I had a male tech and his and Dr. Gibbons attention to detail, genuine care, and effort to build a relationship made me feel truly seen and heard. Dr. Gibbons took the time to listen to my concerns and took thoughtful, personalized action. I had been experiencing inner corner irritation that turned out to be just lashes growing that Dr. Gibbons took prompt action to resolve my concerns, which immediately worked. The selection of their designer frames in the office is impressive, yet I never felt any pressure to make a purchase. Dr. Gibbons has completely changed how I view eye appointments. I've finally found my eye doctor for life. Thank you Eyes and Optics!

This place gets a 5 star review from me, the staff very friendly and respectful, and beautiful as well. The Dr was on spot gave me my eye exam without all the technical equipment that they did have made me feel very at ease as I was really having a day and going thru some things I my personal life top notch establishment and the Dr. loves to fish so you know he's a good guy!

Excellent experience. Dr Gibbons was great, she took her time and explained all of the findings from the exam. They have a great selection of glasses and the person who helped me pick out glasses was very knowledgeable. Will definitely come back.
