My husband had the unfortunate experience with "Dr" Kurzon who did not check her technician's work and used another patient's information. She performed the surgery with the wrong data (mixed my husband's with another patient's information, which should also been DOUBLE CHECKED by herself prior to performing the surgery, but she was late with her Starbucks.) My husband could not see for weeks. We went to see her for the follow up to find out what went wrong. Despite admitting that it was the wrong data with the wrong information she never said SORRY, we wasted over $4K in the hospital, OH!!!! she did refund $1K for the price of the lense. By the way my husband is also a PHYSICIAN. Thanks to her, he had to have another surgery, and eventually had a COMPLETE retina detachment in the same eye. YES!!! "DR" Kurzon needs to be evaluated by the Board of Medicine.

Not sure who's in charge of the billing in this office. Had a visit over 6 months ago. They sent a bill yesterday telling me they are sending my file to a collection agency because they attempted to contact me several times. Never once did the mention this. I paid a bill in December and now they are asking for more money. Complete incompetence.

Dr. Kurzon herself is a good doctor but I would not recommend her practice to anyone in a million years. Her staff are unprofessional and drives away customers from her office. Add to that her billing department does fundamental mistakes and refuse to correct it.

First time patient here at the office. When I first meet Dr. kurzon. I did know who she was. I asked if here name was Dr. Rebecca kurzon cause she didn't introduce herself until she corrected me. I I apologize for that cause it was my first time in the office . I felt like I was treated like a number that I wasn't important to them. Just saying how I felt. But apparently that just how I felt . Here assistant claim that she was in the room the whole time. I told her no you weren't and that by saying I was rude to the whole staff. I only saw 3 people that were taking care of me and the people at the front giving me my next appointment. I don't know what they are doing but I felt uneasy and not welcomed.

Dr Kurzon is great, but office staff and billing could use some help. I won't be back.

I have gone to Dr. Kurzon for 2 years, since moving to the area and have been very pleased with the appointments I've had. I worked close by and was able to get in early with reasonable appointment times, little-to-no wait times, and great service/knowledge from both the front-end staff and Dr. Kurzon herself. I will definitely continue to go to her office even though I work a bit farther now.

Beware of Dr. Kurzon and this practice. She was ready to perform cataract surgery so I decided to get a second opinion from the Florida Eye Clinic. I'm NOT a candidate and they were concerned that Dr. Kurzon was set to perform this surgery. I wasn't even close on the eye chart scale and just needed a follow-up eye exam every year. What a scam!!!

I received a call today 11/21/2022 for my December 5th appointment asking me to reschedule to May. I asked the office associate if this was the first available appointment, 5 months later? She responded yes and made zero effort to find a different date. This office associate didn't offer an apology or seemed empathetic at all. I told her I would have to seek a new doctor and she said ok and hung up on me. This is the second interaction where this practice has been extremely rude to me. I will be seeking a new Ophthalmologist that doesn't keep the client waiting 5 months for a reschedule appointment and where the staff is kind and understanding. Unbelievable!
