Pearle Vision

The two people working in the store were great. Besides that the experience was very disappointing. I have been wearing glasses for over 30 years and contacts for over 20 years and this was the first time I have ever had an eye exam with a doctor over a webcam, as there was no doctor on site . I had to insist that a second examination was done as the first tech (on webcam) could not get my prescription better than 20/25 and was in such a rush she did not give my contacts chance to settle, as they need to do for an astigmatism. Five minutes later with a new tech my vision was 20/20 with my current prescription. This is also the most expensive experience I have had getting glasses and contacts.I have always paid out of pocket, but got new insurance this year which is why I tried Pearle Vision as my old optician does not take my insurance. Without insurance I was paying $140 for an eye exam at Pearle Vision I paid $123 with insurance. For one pair of glasses with insurance I was originally quoted over $1100 with insurance. The person helping me in the store was able to get the price down to $577 with insurance. This is still double what I am used to paying for glasses, with no significant change to my prescription. If I was confident that they got my prescription right over the webcam I would not have bought glasses from them at this price, but they told me they will correct the lenses if they got the prescription wrong. I understand that Pearle Vision is not responsible for my insurance but I can't imagine what this would have cost without my insurance. If you want an in-person exam, you will need to verify if they happen to have someone on site that day, otherwise be prepared to have to advocate for your needs over a web visit.

Dr. Megan provided an excellent experience during my eye exam. She was knowledgeable, patient, and made sure all of my questions were answered. I appreciated how clearly she explained my results and next steps. I would absolutely recommend her to others.

I would recommend this shop to anyone. They were professional, kind and very helpful. They are using the latest technology as well. I was very happy for the young woman who assisted with my screenings that she should be so fortunate to have found such a wonderful place to work.

I've been coming to this location for years and I usually get a different eye doctor every time. I recently had my annual eye exam with Dr. Shirley and I cannot recommend her enough. She is very kind and knowledgeable, as well as helpful and just all round amazing doctor. I enjoyed talking to her and it was a quick and easy exam. Brandon was very helpful and kind enough to move up my exam time to earlier in the day. Thank you, Dr. Shirley and Brandon!

Catrice is an angel!!! She helped us navigate buying my and my husband's glasses using our VSP insurance. She was readily available by phone and in person, knowledgeable, and a wonderful human.

This was my first time going here for my eye exam. I had a great experience. The process to get through the appointment was very efficient and the doctor was excellent. They had very high tech equipment and I didn't leave with dilated eyes. I would highly recommend them.

Katrice was amazing getting us ready, and Dr. Nguyen is the best eye doctor I have had in 25 years. They are thorough and listen to your wants and needs for vision. There was another young lady named Taylor who was also very helpful. We have found our place!

Different experience due to not seeing a doctor in person which felt different. Not necessarily bad but new/futuristic. The two people in the office were quite nice and pleasant but just felt a bit sterile because you weren't actually meeting a doctor in person.
