I enjoyed my experience today as a new customer. Dr. Andrew Gisel was very helpful with helping me understand the condition that my eyes are in. The environment is very clean and the front desk staff were very friendly. I even received help with finding new frames .I will be coming back when I need a new prescription.

Staff and office is always clean and friendly, and the exam is very thorough. Both my boys have required glasses or contacts from the time they were 8-9 years old, and practically blind without them more than 10 feet away; and now, 22 and 16. I myself however, haven't had much luck. I suffer from light sensitivity which triggers migraines and have trouble seeing when reading any kind of context on paper, on my cell phone or my computer monitors, causing me to squint all day, which also triggers migraines along with vertigo at times. I have explained my concerns the past two years as I feel it progressively increasing, only to be told that I don't need glasses, but can buy a pair if I truly feel that I need them. I have a need, so I have purchased a pair or two in the past, only for them to not help at all. If anything they have made it worse. I am at my wits end with all of it

Had an appointment today and very clean environment. The ladies in the front desk were kind and friendly and welcoming. The ophthalmology was extremely attentive as new health conditions arose 2 weeks ago. So he was concerned with my eyes etc. I picked out nice glasses and the lady was attentive doing my measurements. Thank you for your service! Hope to have my glasses within 2 weeks.

I am very impressed. I knew I had a bad scrip from a previous place, but they tried to say I just had to get used to them. A year later, they still felt wrong and they were. I LOVE my new glasses. I can see better. I don't get as many migraines. I can wear them while I use my computer. The difference is insane. Thank you so much.

I cannot say enough great things about this place. They are so much more responsive and attentive than the large corporate places I used to go to. The doctor spent so much time with me explaining everything in detail and the front staff was extremely friendly and helped me choose the best style glasses I could get without going over budget. I will be returning and recommending this place to friends!

I would like to write about a horrible experience that I had recently at University Eye care. Because of this dreadful incident, I offer my words as a courtesy to other patrons, and will never recommend this establishment to any of my friends or colleagues. First, my eye prescription was wrong. I ended up in UCF lake Nona Hospital with ophthalmology thinking I had an undiagnosed problem in my eyes. When I returned to explain my situation, the secretary told me that I need an appointment to discuss this, and also that I would need to pay to correct the mistake--the one that they made. I purchased Ray Ban frames out of pocket, and discovered that I cannot use them because the prescription they provided is wrong. My insurance paid for the lenses, but I needed to pay double for the eye exam due to their incompetence. I begged them to waive the eye exam and pay out of my pocket the lenses, but they refused to cooperate. All around, it was a bad experience. The customer service is extremely poor and very UNPROFESSIONAL. Costco or Walmart are better places than (NAME THE PLACE). From 1 To 5 I rate them -3. And that is being kind. Be warned.

This place is amazing! I took my two boys here for their first eye exams. They are both under 10 years old. They were super nervous but doctor Gisel did great with them and had patience with them. I also had my eyes checked and I think he did a great job! The office staff were very helpful with insurance questions and even helped me pick out glasses. They are very friendly and knowledgeable!

The majority of my vision visits previously were all at Walmart prior to finding this wonderful office. The doctor (Andrew Gisel) was fantastic with not only myself but my two children. He was very patient and attentive of my children. He made my visit exceptional and made me feel like he cared about my vision issues and was not dismissive of any issues that I brought up. The ladies up front helped find the right frames that fit my face and made me feel comfortable in them. When picking up my glasses they made sure they fit properly and adjusted them as needed. Definitely a place I will be recommending to anyone that needs a new office.
