Went today for routine exam to renew contact prescription. Waited over 30 min to be taken back from the reception area. This was out of character for this location, as I have been here multiple times and it has never taken that long. A routine appt took 1 hour and 20 min. I will chalk it up to a one-off and maybe lighter staff after lunch, which is why I have given 4 stars. I enjoy the staff, all nice and accommodating. Doctor is thorough and knowledgeable-and is an interesting guy, always has a good story. I will continue to come to this office, but hope the long wait time was a fluke.

I love, Love, LOVE Dr. Poole & all the staff at East Athens Family Vision! They are prompt, professional, knowledgeable, & use the latest technology. Plus they can explain all my questions in language I can understand with no pressure to upsell me on more exspensive frames or lenses. I really appreciate since my budget is so tight. Since I don't have insurance I joined their VIP program a couple years ago & that has saved me hundreds. Thank you EAFV, I'll see you next year!

Best eye doctor I've ever seen (pun intended)!
I used to go to a nationwide chain until I realized my glasses kept giving me a headache and I should probably try a different doctor. I am SO impressed and thankful for East Athens Family Vision! They identified that I have astigmatism, got me the right prescription updated with the measurements for the astigmatism and now I see CLEARLY!

I had my first appointment here today and the staff was wonderful. I had Dr. Riffel, she was very kind and very helpful. Amy was also fantastic, helped me pick out the glasses I wanted and was also very knowledgeable and helpful. Definitely going to be my new go to place!

Service so good you'll think maybe private equity bought it, but nope, turns out Dr. Springer just runs a great operation and hires great people. And apparently 15 years ago my now wife got a viral eye infection that he treated first thing in the morning and didn't charge her.

Before posting, I want to mention that I seldom go to the eye doctor. The last time I went was 2020. Having said that, I highly recommend this facility. Very clean, professional and the staff is amazing! From Jamie, Kally, to Dr. Riffel and Amy, who had so much patience with me while I was contemplating which frames to buy, this place left a lasting impression. Sure the total for new glasses was a little over my budget, and I might've been able to find it cheaper somewhere else, but the way they treated me, spoke to me and were transparent are the biggest reasons I decided to give them my business. You will not be disappointed.
