Georgia Eye

This was our first visit to Georgia Eye Clinic, and we had a fantastic experience. The front desk staff was very welcoming and friendly, especially Daniel and Marlee, who were professional and courteous. The office is clean, modern, and well organized. Dr. Shah was wonderful--kind, caring, and took the time to make us feel comfortable. We have nothing but the highest praise for the doctors and staff and highly recommend Georgia Eye Clinic!

Had a great experience as a new patient being evaluated for Lasix! The whole process was very thorough and didn't take too long even with the very busy day they were having. Dr. Shah was wonderful and answered all of my questions and made sure I felt comfortable with everything! Highly recommend this group.

The experience was not good. They don't come in early. I arrived on time if not a little early, but gave them a few minutes to start up. Then I waited another 15 minutes before I get called back. I was there for a follow up and a visual field. The test were not ready. The test was not charged. I know high tech is cool an all, but when you are prepared, or organized it doesn't matter. I was at my appointment for over an hour. I was super late for work and a meeting I had to be at. My first appointment was almost 2 hours. That is not an efficient way to run a business. No one has all day to sit at doctor's appointments. I will be going elsewhere. The doctor pushed going to see another doctor for an eye issue when I have no symptoms. My test came back positive and clear. Then I tried to schedule a follow up in a year and was told I had to see another doctor because the one I saw doesn't do contacts, even though I first appointment I had was for contacts with him. So odd. Never again.

I had cataract surgery on both eyes performed by Dr. Shah. He's an amazing guy, friendly, charismatic, young, caring and above all competent. I give my highest recommendation to Dr. Shah and his entire staff. I started wearing bifocals at age fourty. Like most people, every year my eyesight would degenerate a bit more. I went to Georgia Eye in Spring of 2024 and began my journey. I had cataracts which made my vison blurry even with glasses. I work at a computer all day and had to wear powerful readers to see my monitors. Sometimes I would need to wear readers over my readers for fine print. Life had become a big pile of reading glasses in my house and in my cars. I couldn't read a soup can in the grocery without them. I'd had enough. When I went to Georgia Eye, they ran all of the tests you can name. Dr. Shah gave me all of my options and completely undersold cataract surgery. He said, "I'm a surgeon and I like to perform surgery but if you were my dad, I'd tell you to wait." I don't know why at 59 I should wait any longer when I can barely function at my job or life in general. He agreed and we scheduled the first surgery. I selected the laser adjustable lenses. These lenses can be dialed in twice after surgery to maximize vison. I'm glad I did. I won't lie, I spent a lot more money than my insurance covered but it was worth it. In total, I probably went to 20 appointments over the summer of 2024 doing tests, prepping for surgeries and follow-ups. They can't do both surgeries at once so there was a lot involved. It took a commitment time and money wise. I won't go into the surgeries themselves but i actually enjoyed them. Not exaggerating. Id schedule one tomorrow like a spa treatment. Everyone at the surgery center treated me so special and the anesthesia drugs were awesome. I must also mention that Dr. Shah phoned me at home several nights to check on me. Amazing personal care. So, it's been almost 2 years and I still don't have a pair of readers in the car. I don't need readers to work my job at the computer. I do keep a pair of readers when I have to read fine print or when I'm doing detailed work with tools. I feel better, I look better without dorky glasses on my face or head all the time. I had my one year checkup and it was bittersweet for me because I don't see myself going back next year. I mean it when I say "god bless Dr. Shah and Georgia Eye"
