Baumrind Eye

In relocating here, my mom left behind an opthomologist she loved back home. She'd been seeing that doctor at that practice for at least 7, 8 years. So it was imperative that I not only help her keep up her eye care, but also with a doctor she likes and trusts. So I searched. I looked for doctors in Atlanta in general and doctors near my zip code, based on patient satisfaction and other positive indicators. Dr. Baumrind kept showing up at the top, even if all other providers were much closer. Well, my mom's first appointment did not disappoint! Dr. Baumrind's office is very efficient, his staff courteous and friendly. And he is very warm, down to earth, and takes time with his patients, explaining everything, including different potential treatment options, now (if needed) or to consider in the future. In summary, mom now has her new eye doctor. While I also love my eye doctor too, I am considering switching because Baumrind Eye is closer to my job and home.

From the moment I entered Dr. Baumrind's office, I was welcomed by an outstanding and genuinely caring staff. Everyone was professional, attentive, and went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable. Dr. Baumrind provides impeccable care with remarkable attention to detail in every aspect of his work. He takes the time to listen, explain, and ensure that each patient fully understands their treatment. His compassion and dedication truly set him apart from other ophthalmologists. The entire experience reflects a level of excellence that is rare to find in healthcare today. I highly recommend Dr. Baumrind and his incredible team to anyone seeking the very best in eye care.

Dr. Baumrind is a phenomenal doctor!! Excellent bedside manner & very knowledgeable. He explained everything to me in detail & answered all of my questions. He is an hour away but I would definitely make the drive to see him again for future care. Wait time was good & the office has a nice relaxing atmosphere. All of the staff there were very professional & friendly. His wife is a dentist in the same suite just on the opposite side when you walk in.

Dr. Baumrind saw my mother in law as a patient last week and I am completely appreciative of him and Jessica ! I am so happy that she's finally found an ophthalmologist where she doesn't have to wait 3 hours just to be seen!!! They treated her as family and were very thorough with her exam and patient care. Communication between doctors and patients are key!! He explained things in depth with her so she understood and left no questions unanswered!!! He goes above and beyond for his patients and that is very much appreciated!! Jessica's warm and welcoming presence makes the patient comfort a breeze!! Thank you Jessica and Dr. B!!!! JJ & Ebony is two of the best eye assistants/associate's a person can ask for. I was upset when my regular specialist left but I couldn't ask for a better replacement....Dr Baumrind you are one of the best...Thank you for making me feel comfortable in the transition.

I loved everything about Baumrind Eye Dr. Baumrind was fabulous and is very kind and knowledgeable. His assistant, Ebony, is fabulous too! I would highly recommend them to anyone needing a great retina practice.

I had a great experience with Dr. Baumrind as well as the staff. Everyone was very kind from the front office staff to the visit with the doctor. I was able to be seen not only for my presenting issues but also received an eye exam for contacts which is rare for an ophthalmologist. I usually have to go separately to an optometrist. So I appreciate the efficiency of having this in place. The office was very peaceful and they had much better cutting edge tools than other eye practices. I would highly recommend this practice and will be returning annually for my eye exams.

Dr. Baumrind is great, super knowledgeable and great at explaining everything. I've been going to him for Anti-VEGF since 2024 and would highly recommend him!
