This is Janet Pogue! I can not say enough about Dr Schoenberg care. I had gone to three cornea doctor before him. They all told me they could not do anything for me and one doctor gave me a brochure for the blind. When I told him my story, he said he could help me. He had a new procedure he was going to try on me and I would only be the third time he would do it. I trusted him. He was compassionate and the surgery worked !! I can't. say.enough on getting my vision back which I was legally blind before surgery and the best part is my eye is not rejecting like the others said it would. I don't know about your faith belief but my. faith is that he was God's tool!!! Best doctor ever!!

Dr. Schoenberg performed cataract surgery on my father's eye. I was surprised by the cost of the procedure. The high cost was secondary to his cataract surgery being "laser assisted." So I asked my medical school classmate friend who did his ophthalmology residency at UCLA Jules Stein Institute, why the high cost. My friend also finished a cornea-refractive fellowship at New York Eye and Ear. My friend informed me it's a method of upcharging the cost of the procedure, with no increased improvement in surgical outcomes. I did not have the heart to tell my 80-something year old father this information. If you are having cataract surgery with Georgia Eye Partners and the doctors insist on using "laser assisted" cataract extraction, have your doctor prove to you that the 4-8x multiple cost vs routine cataract extraction is justified. My ophthalmologist friend says those studies do NOT exist.

Dr. Evan Schoenberg is extremely professional, patient and friendly. He did my cataract surgery recently, and I'm very satisfied with the results. With his encouragement of using Odyssey lens, I have now not only 20/20 vision in both eyes, but also can read and write perfectly. I would highly recommend Dr. Schoenberg.

Dr.Schoenberg is by far the best surgeon I have been to. Knowing it was him operating on my eyes (ICL) gave me peace of mind going into surgery. I have excellent vision post surgery and smooth recovery. I rate him excellent and highly recommend him. He is truly THE BEST.

I truly can not say enough good things about this Doctor and his office! He is professional, attentive and I am so grateful for his care. I had a traumatic injury that led to an urgent surgery and his skill and bedside manner was nothing shy of exceptional! His staff was kind and so helpful. I did have a lengthy wait in his office, however I would sit there twice as long if that's what it took. Highly, highly recommending Dr Evan Schoenberg ( I would've given him 10 starts if it allowed it.)

I had ICLs done a year ago by Dr. Schoenberg and I am at show at the Eastern and can see so crisp and clear on the stage from the balcony and am so thankful for how much difference this has made for me to not to have to worry about my sight. Thank you!
