Called to schedule a general ophthalmologist appointment, told the phone attendant I have blurred vision, she scheduled me for an appointment. I came to my appointment only to be told that this is a lasik clinic and that they can't help. Waste of time and a bait and switch.

I cannot believe I did not get LASIK sooner! Dr. Ashraf and his team are amazing. My vision is better than pre surgery. After wearing glasses and contacts for 30 years I honestly feel like I have super powers. The offices are beautiful and the staff are so friendly. They made me feel like a friend and took great care of me the whole way! I highly recommend LASIK and Atlanta Vision Institute. Wont disappoint.

Dr. Ashraf is the best Lasik surgeon in the world. Before the actual procedure he takes plenty of time to explain to you what to expect during and after surgery. Then, during the procedure he was extremely calming and comforting. I was so nervous at first, but he completely made me feel better! He is very confident and his staff is also. He did such an amazing job with my Lasik surgery that I recommend him to anyone. Not only did he do an amazing job with my surgery, but his post-op appointments are also very thorough. He is one of the most skilled, charming, and best-looking surgeons you will find on the East Coast. If you're looking for someone who has experience with Lasik surgery and you want the best of the best, this is your guy. When it comes to your eyes, you can not play around. You need only the best, and Dr. Ashraf is certainly that!

Dr. Ashraf is a very professional and easy to work with man. Him and his gorgeous staff made the consultation, planning and the day of the operation a very easy and straightforward event. They are very knowledgeable and take their time to sit down and answer your questions. I would recommend Dr. Ashraf to anyone looking to get eye surgery because my experience has definitely surpassed my expectations.

I'm usually not one to write reviews, but I felt he deserved one. If you know anyone that has had Lasik done, you have probably heard him or her tell you that their only regret is not doing it sooner. I kept putting it off, thinking I'd wait until the technology improved (among other excuses I'd think up silently to put it off). Before I knew it ten years had passed, and I was still wearing my glasses, unable to see clearly anything over five feet away. After doing research online for Lasik surgeons in my area, Dr. Ashraf really stood out to me. You can't argue with the sheer amount of positive feedback. During the consultation, I could tell that Dr. Ashraf was stressing the reality of the situation: this is surgery on your eyes. Even though I'm sure he has done enough procedures that he could do them perfectly in his sleep, he still took the time to urge you to look at everything realistically and to set your expectations appropriately. I had the procedure done a few days ago, and I was as nervous as anyone would be when it comes to eye surgery. However, Dr. Ashraf has gone above and beyond to make the experience as comfortable as possible. The office environment is relaxing, and his support staff are positive and kind. Time spent in the operation room is short, and the procedure happens quickly. Dr. Ashraf is there with you every step of the way guiding you through the procedure and making sure you are alright. Immediately afterward there was dryness and minor irritation, both of which were expected. I could also see immediately as if I were wearing my glasses. Four days post-op, and I can tell my vision is continuing to sharpen and the dryness is subsiding. Overall, I'm glad I summoned the drive to get this done, and I hope this review helps anyone that may be on the fence to come to a decision.

I totally agree with Helen Kasten. This Dr. did surgery on both my eyes. Had to have corrective surgery by a third Dr. & still cannot see well after 6 months. Cannot correct with glasses - having to go to a third Opthamoligist to see if laser treatments could help. Be careful when choosing a cataract surgeon!

What a warm and friendly environment at Dr . Farooqs office the doctor and the whole staff were awesome and made my Lasik eye surgery a pleasant experience. Thank you all and I suggest that anyone looking at having lasik or any eye care needs go see these guys there the best,
