Dr. Ted Wonjo is absolutely remarkable -- lowkey a Godsend. From the moment I met him, he made me feel seen, heard, and safe, even when I was scared and vulnerable about my eye surgeries. He is incredibly knowledgeable, precise, and kind-hearted, but what really sets him apart is how he talks to patients -- he knows how to calm fears, answer every question, and make complex procedures understandable without making you feel overwhelmed. He's also funny, warm, and genuinely caring, which makes an already stressful situation feel manageable. I trust no other doctor as much as him to handle invasive oculoplastic surgeries. The combination of his skill, bedside manner, and heart is rare and priceless. Grady and Emory are truly lucky to have someone like Dr. Wonjo -- he goes above and beyond in ways that make a real difference in patients' lives. My husband had appt today to evaluate tear duct that Dr W did surgery on over 3 years ago.My husband was experiencing some issues, We needed to be looked at quickly, we felt and even though it had been over 3 years we were seen within 6 days of our initial call to the clinic. The doctor and his tech, Pam as well as the folks at the front desk for check in and check out were superb, there are a lot of moving parts in this clinic and people were coming, going,being treated, Checking in and Checking out efficiently for the entire time that we were there. Everyone was courteous and helpful and the doctor was his amazing, personable and professional self that we knew he would be from over 3 years ago when we first met him. Husband told him about something in the other eye, and Dr. W got us in to see one of his colleagues in the cataract clinic immediately, now that would not have happened in the eye center we have been going to since we moved. Even though it is much further for us to go from Cumming to Atlanta, we will not be making thr mistake of going anywhere else again, this clinic. this doctor is amazing and well worth the drive My husband is 74 years old. We don't expect miracles, but we expect professionalism, accurate diagnoses, empathy and courtesy. You get them in spades here!!!!
