Eye Physicians and Surgeons

We were referred to EyePhysicians and Surgeons in Dunwoody by our PCP. Over all our first visit was positive. Shilpa was great with our son--super patient, kind, and really took the time to make sure he felt at ease during the visit. She explained everything clearly, which helped him feel confident since he was nervous. Dr. Patel was also excellent--very professional and kind!

My daughter went to her Pediatrician in which she was recommended by her doctor to be seen by an Ophthalmologist. I called this place, which I was told she needs a referral to go here. I did my part by calling my daughter's doctor/ nurse to send that information over. The lady on the phone then goes "well even if you do get that information sent, it'll take 2-3 weeks to get approved by our doctor, I recommend you call - "Dr.Peggy Sinkoe" which happens to be a Optometrist. If I WANTED OR NEEDED HER TO GO TO AN OPTOMETRIST, I WOULD HAVE TAKEN HER TO ONE! Incompetent & unprofessional people here, all they do is give you the run around for nothing! IF A CONCERNED CARING PARENT IS LOOKING FOR AN OPHTHALMOLOGIST, DON'T SEND THEM TO SOMEONE WHO DOESN'T HAVE THE SAME DAMN SKILLS, WHATS WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE!

Received glasses here for my youngest child. Great and easy process involving a young lady named Tiyesha, wonderful person! However their front desk lady could use some customer service etiquette training.

We absolutely adore Dr. Weeks, but the billing/office side of this practice is awful. We have been going here for years and so when we received a suddenly very high bill we had to call the third party billing office who was *awful* and they sent us back to the practice to get answers. When you try to get through billing, they send you back to the third party. I finally found a direct billing number and called it and left a message, only for no one to call me back. They texted me (automated) and said I could reply to that, which I did, and no one responded. Such a nightmare, and unfortunately we are now likely going to switch practices because it's been so frustrating. The providers here are amazing but not enough to overcome this.

I can't say enough good things about my experience with Eye Physicians & Surgeons (Chamblee Dunwoody). Dr. Patel and Candy were unbelievably patient and talented in helping me see far better than I have in years. They literally let me try multiple options until I was satisfied. The first time I saw Dr. Patel, she said, "I can get you seeing better." And she did. I am in my 50's with astigmatism as well as a need for multi-vision contact lenses. Done and done. I don't need readers now and I can read my phone, Apple watch, and computer without jumbo sizing the font.

It was an awesome experience. We had all what we need from a specialist: time, attention, kindness and explanations. My mom was assisted by Shilpa who offered her an outstanding attention. Definitively I highly recommend this place.

We have been coming to eye physicians and surgeons for 14 years and I don't know what has happened to the management but never have we had to wait like this before. An hour for an appointment and still not seen. The first time this has happened. Absolutely love Dr weeks and what she has done for my son thru the years but this is absolute absurd the wait time.

Dr. Pooja Patel is fantastic! I went to her for new contacts, I was a little apprehensive at first but she said to trust her, I did and oh so happy I did. I haven't felt this good in contact in a very long time. Thanks so much!
