My experience with Dr. Gelhaus has been exceptional. She is thoughtful, thorough, and extremely knowledgeable. I have seen many eye doctors dealing with complicated eye issues for decades and Dr. Gelhaus is by far the best I've ever seen. Outside of the office visit, she is also very responsive and diligent with follow up treatment care and issues around prescriptions. Highly recommend.

Spending three hours with their team is never a burden--it's a joy. Ms. Lo-Shawn, in particular, embodies the warmth and care that set this practice apart. Even when my eye surgeon wasn't available, Dr. Negaard stepped in with remarkable clarity and professionalism. His articulate approach reassured me that I was in excellent hands. It may sound unusual, but I'm genuinely looking forward to my upcoming eye surgery. That's how much confidence I have in this team. I been a patient for over 20 years. I have noticed an agreeable change in the past 5 years or more. People are more proactive and helpful. Not that it was ever bad but now I feel like all go out of their was to help.

My experience at this office was quite disappointing. customer service :( 0 stars)' The office manager, Lashawn Monroe, provided poor customer service. She was non-helpful, inattentive, disrespectful, and used passive-aggressive behaviors . (She smiled but refused to help with my issue. of my medicare card. She showed no compassion. If my eye condition wasn't so painful today, I would have walked out. However, I will never return to this office for care, especially because of my first experience with the office manager. I asked for her help, but she was unwilling to help me resolve my health insurance situation. when i expressed that i was having difficulty getting the back of card and ask could she call them to verify my status she stated that's not my job and if i want to be seen i had to pay $150 for the visit. i asked to be billed for it and she said she couldn't do that. She was not helpful. On the other hand, the patient care (4 stars) was warm, professional, friendly, and supportive, Dr Lanskey , Revina and Megan were team awesome!!! they treated me with dignity and kindness. "First impressions are lasting impressions. i will not be going back to that location again...... I refuse to be treated like I don't matter."

From the moment I walked in with my eyeball drama, the staff made me feel so comfortable I almost forgot I was there for an eye issue and not a spa day. Everyone was warm, calm, and reassuring--like, "Yes, your eye is acting up, but we've got you" energy. The specialist Dr. O was thorough, professional, and explained everything without making me panic or Google my symptoms in the parking lot. If you're nervous about an eye appointment, this is the place--excellent care, amazing staff, and zero stress (except for the brief moment when they say, "don't blink").

This was my first visit and I was very pleased. The front desk staff was friendly, helpful and efficient. I did not have a long wait before being called back. The tech that did the initial eval was great. She was so friendly and efficient without rushing. There was a short wait for the doctor. He listened to my concerns, asked questions and was thorough in his explanations. I will be returning for a consultation for cataract surgery. I feel confident in this practice and would highly recommend.

This was my first visit and I would say my experience was fair to good. The location of the office is not convenient at all in terms of getting from my car to their door, being attached to Emory Midtown Hospital. Very distant and confusing! There is an EXTREMELY long wait time! I was there for 3 HOURS!!! Once Dr. Feinberg came into the room, the time went much quicker. Although he only spent about 10 minutes, he was friendly and knowledgeable. The office is nice, the staff for the most part was nice. However, the person who took me back to the exam room and started my basic exam was a little rude. I had been referred by my Optometrist but they had no referral on file and didn't know why I was being seen. She told my husband and I that she would not be able to check on why that had not received a referral or any notes from my referring physician because she had "50 other patients to get through" that day. Thank goodness I remembered the medical term my doctor had mentioned to me. But my husband ended up having to inquire about the referral. It is like a huge assembly line there. Just be prepared for that.

The area location too complicated and long the appointment was at 930am left their office at 1230pm! Everyone was very kind, so much paperwork! Didn't get the option to register online! Went through 3 waiting periods for each test to be done (evaluation) to be done another wait to check out! Hard time driving home even with the plastic ey cover that I received! I really needed a driver for the appointment because of the dilation of my eyes!!!! By the time you see the doctor all the evaluation s are done waiting for his review! I like the Doctors interaction but seem the process can be a bit more patient friendly! K
