The staff (Dr. Patel, China and Jennifer) made this experience exceed my expectations with their GREAT personalities as well as professionalism. They make you feel as if you've known them for a long time. During my follow up, I was immediately greeted by each of them as soon as I walked in. The staff, comprising Dr. Patel, China, and Jennifer, consistently exceeded my expectations with their exceptional personalities and professionalism. Their warm and familiar demeanor created an immediate sense of connection, as if we had known each other for an extended period. During my subsequent visit, each member of the staff greeted me promptly upon my arrival. Thank you so much ladies for this pleasurable experience. Currently, Doctor Smith stands out as one of the most exceptional surgeons, if not the best in the field. His exceptional comedic timing, ability to put patients at ease, and seamless flow of the surgical process makes him a highly recommended professional. I wholeheartedly endorse both Doctor Smith and this establishment. My genuine experience and unwavering trust in their services have earned me their business. This will be an ongoing review. I called on Tuesday to get some information about their lasik procedure, had my consultation on Thursday, and will be having my surgery on Saturday. The receptionist I spoke with was very friendly and answered all of my questions and set some really clear expectations as to what would happen during my consultation. Walking into their Galleria location was very pleasing. It's very clean, welcoming, spacious, and very well designed. Not to cluttered but you can tell that they are proud of the success of Dr. Smith!!! His awards are displayed so that they are one of the first things you see. Their establishment is ran like a well oiled machine from the greeters to the financial counselor and everyone in between. Definitely worth the money I'm about to spend there and I haven't even met Dr. Smith for my surgery. Can't wait for tomorrow. Can't wait for 20/20 ----------------- A little over 24 hours after surgery and I am soooooo upset with myself for waiting this long to get this procedure done. The result was instant! I could tell the difference from the moment I stepped out of the OR. My vision was a little dewy in terms of picture quality, but I COULD SEE!!! The discomfort came when we got into traffic. It was very sunny and super uncomfortable so I simply closed my eyes and covered my head with my bestfriend's light jacket. I'll suggest taking a dark blanket on your way to surgery in preparation for your drive home. When I got home, I used my two drops as prescribed and took an ibuprofen (unprescribed) and covered my eyes with the shield provided and called it a day! While I was not in excruciating pain, my right eye was pulsating a little. I knew I was going to need to sleep this part off so I did just that. I slept for about 3 hours and when I woke up, the pulsating sensation had subsided. I could see clearly, but there was some glare and blurriness. As I type, my vision is much clearer and I feel wonderful! It's taking some getting used to having perfect vision lol. Other than the glare and blurriness, which I'm told will go away in the days and weeks to come, my right eye feels like I have sand in it. This is due to dryness so the blink tear drops help with that. I am doing 1 drop every hour for the 1st week after surgery and will go to 4 times a day until the supply is depleted, which I'm told is about 3 months. Other than that, all is well. If you've considered lasik before, seriously...DO IT!!! More to come after my follow up tomorrow ----------------- So something quite remarkable happened last night. I received a call from a local number. I generally tend to not answer those because telemarketers are now calling from local numbers, however something made me answer. Glad that I did! It was Dr. Smith calling to check on me. Did you hear me? Not one of the nurses or a receptionist. DR Smith, top 5 in the country, all these awards, etc picked up the phone, and called his patient. He wanted to see how I was doing and asked me if I had any questions. I mentioned the sand-in-the-eye feeling and he addressed it and set some expectations as to how long that could last and to continue to use my drops. For Dr. Smith himself to make that call means a lot. Little subtleties like that is what set you apart in any field. As busy as this man is and as wonderful as his staff is, he didn't have to do that. PLUS, they gave me his cell phone number, which to be honest, I thought yeah right lol. I had no plans on using it and just nodded when it was pointed out on my paperwork to call him if I had any questions. So other than that really great impression, I went to my follow up on Monday and everything looked great. I'm seeing all the lines but things are still a little blurry. My appointment was really early in the morning so I left home when it was dark and experienced a lot of glare while driving but not to where I couldn't function. Look forward to clearer vision, no doubt. Grateful for where it currently is for sure.

Thrilled with My Custom LASIK Experience! I'm 2 months post-op and genuinely so grateful to Dr. Patel and Dr. Eugene Smith. I've got borderline thin corneas and was told over and over again at other clinics over the years that PRK was my only option. But with new tech and Dr. Smith's experience, I was able to do custom LASIK safely--and the recovery time was way faster. For a few weeks after, I had mild glare and light issues, especially at night or on screens, but that cleared up as my eyes healed. I thought I'd need reading glasses at first, but only used them briefly. Now I can see up close again just fine as I didn't have any near-vision issues prior to surgery. I used to wear contacts and glasses every day, and was expecting to have the same vision experience, but now, my vision is even better than I could have imagined post surgery! -Daytime vision--crisp and clear -Night vision--no more halos or starburst on most lights.....less and less halos or starbursts on bright LED lights (and honestly don't even think about it cause my night vision is significantly better than when I wore glasses and contacts) -Near, far, peripheral--all on point (And the sharpness of my vision is incredible) I was already seeing 20/20 the day after surgery, and I'm certain it is even better now. The team at LASIK Plus was great--super clear about what to expect post-op, and everything went exactly as they said. Again, couldn't be happier with the results!

Staff has been amazing. The consultation went quick, answered all my concerns, calmed my nervousness. Had Lasik the following week (yesterday) and it went fantastic. Surgery was quick, painless, and not at all what I expected. Could already see better as I was driven home. Follow visit today and I could already make out most of the 20/20 line. I waited way too long to do this. DON'T WAIT!!! Do it now! Life changing for sure!

There are not enough wonderful things I can say about my experience with Dr. Smith and his team. They made sure I was fully educated on the condition of my eyes before I agreed to the procedure. My prescription was a -6 and I had an astigmatism in my right eye. This was never mentioned to me by my eye doctor and made perfect sense as to why my vision always seemed a bit off. A few days before surgery day, I spoke with a member of the LASIK plus team who was very nice and informative. I told her how nervous I was and she called in a prescription to my local pharmacy to help with my nerves for surgery day. As expected I was really nervous on surgery day (9/13/24). Dr. Smith and his staff were so supportive! They made sure I was educated on the aftercare process and showed me why LASIK was the best option for me. I took my sedative and headed into surgery. Dr. Smith and his team were so patient with me during my procedure. They talked me through every step and not to mention I really enjoyed the music they played in the operating room! It was uncomfortable but not painful. Before I knew it, it was over. I sat up and to my surprise I could see! It was one the most exhilarating experiences in my life. I had nothing but tears of joy. I went home took a nap and started my aftercare. I have no bruising and no red eyes. My eyes look great! I've worn glasses since the 1st grade and today I am happy to say I have 20/20 vision! Thank you LASIK Plus!

Please don't do it was a waste of money. I had mine done 2 years ago with Dr. Smith at Cobb Galleria Georgia and now I am back to glasses and my vision is getting worse, after they saw me again they said it would be risky to redo LASIK for second time and that's not what they told me the first time before the surgery. I am very disappointed.

From my consultation to my post op appointment all of the doctors, nurses, and technicians were amazing. Positive attitudes, positive energy, and efficient. There was a three hour wait before my actual procedure but I think that is by design. You can watch other people getting their surgery along with refreshments and a comfortable atmosphere. I have worn glasses/contacts since I was 5 years old. I am now 40 and have 20/20. Super amazing! I'm not gonna lie, the procedure was quite psychologically freaky for me and painful. There was also a lot of pain afterwards but I was good that evening. It is the first day after my surgery and I am able to drive and do normal activities. Dr. Smith was perfection!

Painful experience- had blood in the whites of my eyes afterwards. What's worse is that I did NOT need reading glasses before lasik - my up close vision was near-perfect. Afterwards, I can barely read & the art and design work I used to do is impossible to see. It has been a year since my surgery and this has barely improved. The only warning I was given was "if you already need readers, this will make your close vision worse." NO ONE told me "even though you have almost perfect up-close vision, this will destroy it!" Really disappointed- I wish I hadn't done it.
