Leonard Achiron, OD

I had an excellent experience with the optometrist her they are truly top tier and excel at their work. However, the receptionist left much to be desired. The short older lady with glasses had a sarcastic anttiude and negative spirit that affected my overall impression, & others have said the same. Just because you've worked somewhere for years doesn't give you the right to treat guest in that manor. Check your self and Customer service years in an industry doesn't mean anything ! Regrettably, due to this interaction, I've decided to seek services elsewhere.

What can't be said about this place. The staff is compassionate and caring and professional, Dr. Achiron is the same. I had a diagnosis that is really concerning and could have lost my sight, but under Dr. Achiron's care I have retained my sight and am looking forward to Lasik Surgery. Of course Dr. Achiron will perform the procedure. The big thing that I was impressed with is how Dr. Achiron and his staff make you feel like family. I highly recommend this office for all of your eye care needs!

One thing I really love is Dr. Achiron is not trying to do procedures because of the money. I explained my concerns with him of paying double for test whereas other facilities would have done the test over causing me to pay out of pocket more he was more considerate. It doesn't hurt that he's a comedian. Samantha is the best, she was patient and willing to listen.

Negative Zero Stars!!! The only reason I put 1 star is it wouldn't let me post if I didn't. Dr. Achiron should not be in the medical field at all. He left my daughter vision worse than it was before she came in to see him. My daughter has Keratoconus in the right eye and Keratoconus w/ monocular exotropia in the left he assured us that he can help her. After the first procedure on the right eye, he states he cannot help her left eye and also refuse to order the contact that she needs. He never told us this until he found out that the insurance (Care Source) didn't pay and the only reason they didn't pay was because he put in the wrong codes (Per CareSource) So it was a mistake on his end which we repeatedly tried to tell him, but he refuses to listen because he thinks he is God and knows everything. He also made fun of my daughter left eye in the hallway where other patients can hear leaving my daughter more self-conscious and depressed. When I asked for a referral so I can take her to another doctor to at least get a second opinion her refused and once again played God stating that there is nothing no other doctor can do (how can he speak for other doctors) Now my daughter vision is worse than before she is unable to drive or work, sunlight hurts her eye that she had the procedure in which leaves her with nauseating headaches. She has two small kids that she is unable to properly take care of due to this so-called doctor. He needs to retire and never touch another person again.

I highly recommend this office due to my history of having keratoconus and coming to Dr. Achiron office was great he gave me the recommendations regarding my treatment options such as cross linking for my eye condition, and he also prescribed me a hard contact lens that really improved my vision.

The best eye doctor I've ever been to plain and simple. They got in and out in a timely manner and the staff is the best!

Dr. Achiron has been my eye doctor for over 20 years. Always takes good care of me!

Everyone here is very friendly and professional. There's never a dull moment when you here. I've been coming here for the past 8 years and I highly recommend his service.
