Premier Eye Physicians

I have been a patient here for the past 3-4 years and Dr. Harris is great! His care and expertise is amazing. Unfortunately it's not enough to deal with the horrible customer service that every receptionist I have encountered provides. Anytime I call or check-in for an appointment they are so rude or sound so miserable as if you are bothering them. You can't get through a 3 minute phone call without them constantly putting you on hold. The payment/insurance verification process is always so tedious and they never have a straight answer for you. Hate to mention the fact that I've been hit with "surprise" bill amounts once my visit is over which is why I ask for clarity beforehand. Hate that I will have to start going elsewhere.

I just had a great first visit to Dr. Harris's office. He was very thorough, his bedside manner was wonderful, and the staff that took care of me during my visit were also very kind and professional. Dr. Harris took the time to explain to me the state of my eye in a way that was very detailed. He takes time to educate his patients and I think that's a wonderful thing.

Dr. Harris is amazing. He identified the issue with my daughter's eye right away and got her on the right path so her eye could heal. So thankful for him and this practice. Highly recommend his office for eye/optical care.

Before visiting Premier Eye Physicians I confirmed on the phone that they accepted my medical plan. For context, I've already met my deductible for the year and have only been paying a 10% copay for months. But when I arrived at Premier Eye Physicians, they demanded $172.50 cash upfront because "you've met your INDIVIDUAL deductible for the year, but not your FAMILY deductible." I told them that this makes absolutely no sense. Why would an individual deductible even exist if you still had to meet your family deductible? They were so insistent that I decided to trust them and pay the $172.50. But something still felt off, so while I was still in the waiting room I called BCBS. Sure enough, BCBS confirmed that "Premier Eye Physicians CANNOT charge you because you've already met your individual deductible." I relayed their exact words to the front desk staff, but amazingly, they still refused to back down. $172.50 cash or no visit. So I demanded a refund and left. I've since filed a grievance against Premier Eye Physicians to both BCBS and the Georgia Department of Community Health for fraudulent billing practices. I also advised my significant other to cancel her appointment and strongly recommend that all future patients stay away.

Dr. Eddie Harris and his staff have been excellent in service for my wife. Each visit surpasses the previous. If you want excellent eye care this is the place to go. Very knowledgeable staff quick to answer questions or assist you on how to obtain further information. Dr. Harris is the best I've seen in Metro Atlanta.

Dr. Harris runs his practice in an excellent customer service manner. From the receptionist, the techs and himself. Antoinette was my tech and she was AMAZING! She was polite, upbeat and knowledgeable. I will recommend Dr. Harris at all times!

I had the horrible experience of having a piece of metal shard lodged in my eye causing my sight to be severely affected & headaches that were unbearable. Upon walking into the office I felt a very serene atmosphere....as I was greeted by a very cordial & delightful staff. I was seen quickly by Dr. Harris & he assessed & remedied the situation quickly. This doctor is on another level of treating humans like a human & he has a staff that matches his zest for life & resolve. I highly recommend him. As of tonight....no headaches....no blurred vision....no eye aches. I can't thank him or his staff enough. This is a real review by a real client.

I agree Dr. Harris is very thorough and the staffing is courteous, one issue is they will not bill you based off of issues of the past. I'm diabetic and requires a yearly exam this is my second year and unfortunately being on a fixed income I needed to be billed. So I ended up rescheduling on the day I would have the funds. I understand.
