I recently had LASIK and truly had the best experience I could have imagined. From start to finish, everything exceeded my expectations. The staff was incredibly friendly and patient, taking the time to answer all of my questions thoroughly. Dr. Woolfson was outstanding. His pre-op video provided all the information I needed, and his humor and honesty immediately put me at ease. I really appreciated getting to experience his personality -- it made the whole process feel more personal and less intimidating. On the day of the procedure, everything was extremely comfortable and well organized. All LASIK patients were placed together in an interior waiting room, and our post-op bags were waiting at our seats with everything we would need -- including a stuffed animal wolf, which was such a fun and thoughtful touch! Once everyone had arrived, Dr. Woolfson came into the room, shook each of our hands, called us by name, and asked where we were from and who our eye doctor was. He then sat down with us and explained the procedure in detail and reviewed all of the post-op dos and don'ts for the first 72 hours. He even gave us his personal cell phone number and encouraged us to text him with any questions or concerns. That entire interaction calmed my nerves and really lightened the mood in the room. Patients were then called back one at a time, about every ten minutes. When it was my turn, the nurse brought my spouse in from the outer waiting room so he could come into the OR with me. He was allowed to hold my hand and watch the procedure, which meant so much to both of us. In the OR, Dr. Woolfson was focused and efficient. The team got me situated and immediately got to work. My right eye was finished before I even realized it. There was no pain -- just mild pressure for a few seconds, brief black vision -- and then perfect vision. Dr. Woolfson calmly talked me through each step and even made conversation with my husband and I between eyes. It honestly felt like I was only on the table for about four minutes total. The most incredible part was sitting up and immediately having perfect vision. It felt surreal. This was truly the best possible experience. I would absolutely do it again tomorrow. I'm so grateful to Dr. Woolfson and his entire team for making this life changing experience a reality for me!

The whole process was smooth and efficient! The staff was funny, and incredibly friendly, and made me feel comfortable during all of it. Dr. Woolfson is highly experienced and knowledgeable, and funny and down to earth. Put me at ease during the whole procedure. Would highly recommend to anyone considering getting LASIK.

I knew i was in good hands with Woolfson. I was extremely nearsighted, and had astigmatism pretty bad. To where it looked like I was seeing through a kaleidoscope at night with the headlights. After a few short minutes in surgery, I have perfect vision. This was truly a life changing experience for me, and there is no other surgeon I would recommend. No more glasses, no more depth perception problems, no more kaleidoscope night driving. Between the staff at the snellville location, and the staff at the sandy springs location I received nothing but the best care, examinations, and professionalism. Woolf pack for life!

Everyone was super nice! I was a bit nervous the day of my procedure but Dr. Woolfson and his assistants made my entire experience awesome. I would definitely recommend them to anyone thinking about having LASIK done. It's so worth it!

I could not have asked for a better Lasik experience than I received at Woolfson Eye Institute. My eye doctor recommended him, and I'm so thankful that he did. Everyone was very kind and easy to work with. I loved the sense of humor and how personable all of the staff was. It put me at ease before the procedure. The office was extremely efficient, but you never felt rushed and they took time with each patient to answer questions and let you know what to expect. Watch the video they send ahead of time and follow directions and you will be just fine. I went in with a prescription on the higher end or what is usually treated with Lasik and had better than 20/20 vision the next morning. I can't thank Dr. Woolfson and his staff enough!

Thank you to the amazing team and staff at Woolfson Eye Institute. They were extremely professional, cracked jokes and told funny stories to help keep me calm, I felt well taken care of and whole heartedly trusted Dr. Woolfson and his team to do the best job. And boy did they deliver For anyone who does not appreciate a Dr with a straight forward no BS approach to what his patients actually need, and want, to hear there are plenty of other LASIK Surgeons to choose from. The prep material is extremely thorough. I went home knowing exactly what to do. Dr. Woolfson, Dr. Tom, Thank you! and special should out to David L, thank you for being YOU. Sarcastic banter and funny stories helped calm my nerves and made me feel at home.
