Dr. Leff and his staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. Dr. Leff was very knowledgeable and reassuring about my upcoming procedure, and I left feeling truly comfortable and prepared. Both he and Dr. Walrath have made my situation so much easier, giving me full confidence that this surgery is the right decision and that I'm in excellent hands. And in my best SpongeBob voice... "I'm ready!"

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Leff. From the moment you walk in, he makes you feel completely at ease. His bedside manner is warm, reassuring, and genuinely caring. What I appreciate most is how he explains everything he's doing during the exam--nothing feels rushed, and you always know what's happening. It's rare to find a doctor who combines such professionalism with such kindness. Every visit with Dr.Leff has been a truly pleasant experience, and I feel confident and cared for under his care. Highly recommend him to anyone looking for an ophthalmologist who truly puts patients first!

The experience was absolutely incredible. I didn't know what to expect, but Dr. Leff was up front and forthcoming in the examination. He was very personable and explained everything in a way that I was able to understand. Definitely recommend him.

I had a very disappointing and upsetting experience with Dr Steven Leff. During my initial visit, the appointment felt rushed, like an assembly line. Surgery was recommended and presented as quick and straightforward, with minimal discussion of risks. I agreed at the time. Two weeks later I received a notification of a new doctor's note about my visit. I reviewed the doctor's chart note and was alarmed to see a lengthy list of surgical risks documented, with a statement that all of these had been discussed with me. That did not happen during my visit. Naturally, this caused anxiety, so I reached out with questions. I was asked to come into the office for clarification. I drove one hour each way, hoping for reassurance and information. Instead, the doctor was condescending, refused to address my questions, repeatedly insisted I "go get a second opinion" (which I clearly stated I did not want), and abruptly left the room. The entire visit lasted less than two minutes. Afterward, I sent a respectful email explaining my experience and reiterating that I only wanted to understand the surgery and post-operative care. The following day, I received a certified letter dismissing me as a patient. Patients should be allowed to ask questions and express concerns without being treated as a problem or dismissed from care. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this practice.

It would be impossible to fully capture how fantastic my visit was. Dr. Leff has a very reassuring bedside manner. Because it was an issue with my eyes, I was quite worried, but he explained everything in a straightforward way that put my mind at ease and kept me from overthinking. He comes across as extremely intelligent yet refreshingly down to earth. I was very impressed and will definitely be back. The entire staff was also outstanding, every step from check-in to check-out was handled with genuine care and professionalism.

Dr Leff has been the most wonderful Dr to us for years. He saved my husband's vision. He is always smiling and his staff love him. Dr Leff's patients also love him and won't see anyone else. He is knowledgeable and he has wisdom that he uses when he assesses his patients eyes. We actually look forward to our next appointment. He is a very skilled surgeon. Dr Leff has been taking care of my eyes for the last few years. He is kind, knowledgeable & always answers any questions I have. His staff is friendly & will let you know if things are running a little behind. I will continue working with Dr Leff because he is the best!

Easy to make an appointment , seen on or before appointment time for the pre-eye exam work-that is performed by a Professional and personable staff. And then Who can ask for a better eye specialist then Dr Stephen Leff ! I have total confidence in him as He repaired my detached retina 12 years ago and it is still perfect.!!!!
